A revision from 6 days ago when I claimed I loved it. Lol. A full day just trimming, chopping, washing, hanging. Than came the back pain. Hahaha. Today was trim and dry, and started out with thinking 2, than 4, than fuck it. All day. So yeah…. Knowing I have 5 more to go, I’m less excited. I’ll happy when it’s done. You hate it after the first day, and for 7 hours? Lol. Congrats. Happy croptober
For me it's relaxing and therapeutic. You have to really enjoy tedious work to enjoy trimming.A revision from 6 days ago when I claimed I loved it. Lol. I can see that for sure. I don’t mind it. To a point though. 7hrs I found to be a little much. I’m pretty happy the harvest is staggered that’s for sure. For me it's relaxing and therapeutic. You have to really enjoy tedious work to enjoy trimming.
There is definite reward there. I was so excited for the big weigh in. I guess if I really put it into perspective 7hrs of trimming is directly related to that number on the scale. It was the sore back that got me re thinking how much I actually enjoy it. Lol. My 2nd plant is drying. Look forward to the manicure a little more after spending a little more time at harvest. Hopefully cut the trim down a bit. Bit I definitely get what your saying. Each bud I trim after dry is the most rewarding feeling after a season. And even at this point in the year when I start getting overwhelmed. It’s still a good feeling. Just watching the weight rack up. I did so many strains this year. So many different smells and what not. Each new plant is like the first. Exciting.
For sure. My outdoor season is wrapping up, I’ve got about 1/2 of my garden chopped and hanging. I find I worry way more during the day about the stuff hanging in the shed then I did about the plants before I started chopping them down. The neighborhood has lots of dogs and eyes, so I’m not that concerned, but more than I was before I started chopping.I don’t mind the trimming and harvesting but the one thing that gets me is the anxiety when I leave the house with plants hanging. Half the time I expect to come back to a kicked in door with my harvest gone. ain’t to worried about the grow setup itself or even the plants that are growing, that’d be difficult to get out of here without a neighbor noticing but a mf can grab chopped and hanging plants real quick.
That something that crosses my mind at times as well. I put a gate up this year I can lock. And I do. Rural property, also have cameras. Pretty private thankfully. Think only my one neighbor could tell. But he’s cool.I don’t mind the trimming and harvesting but the one thing that gets me is the anxiety when I leave the house with plants hanging. I’d never even heard of a bowl trimmer. Just watched video on YouTube. Wow! Pretty impressive. You’d still have a final trim up. But that save hours. Thanksbowl trimmers are an excellent way for mass amounts of outdoor or even indoor. I mean. Those things are awesome. But they do not come close to hand tight trimming
Really? It took me 9hrs pretty much fixed no break for 9oz. I’m pretty ocd over it though. Lots of snip cleaning.I’m finally getting decent at it. I get through about 4oz an hour.
I will look into this as well. I do a full wash on my girls than hang dry. A minor wet trim. Just the big shit. Than a full dry trim.Get the trim bag I did 8 pounds in about two hours as long as your moisture content is low it saves tons of time and labor some people I talk to say they hate it but if your moisture is right it works wonders buds come out store quality I would trim my sugar leaves up a little run thru the bag then put it in paper bags for 24 hours and run it thru again we did 125 full outdoor plants in 6 hours with two trim bags added out to a lot in no time
