Almost 20 people died. I lived in Chicago for every single Bulls Championship win from 91-98. People rioted, flipped cars, etc. Didnt see any bodies.

But the folks who exploited BLM were righties e. g. Proud Boys who were running a false flag operation, while the uniformed police operated with a serious double standard. Kid gloves for the supremacists, tear gas and batons for the more peaceful BLM protesters.

Find me a counterexample then, and not from the Big Lie media. I can be convinced; all it takes is a well-backed story on an unbiased (or least biased) news service, specifically Reuters and AP.

I remain interested in who constitutes the center by your lights.

News service? i dont rely on the media whatsoever. I dont watch TV. All the media outlets you listed earlier dont get a second of my attention. I did however hear live police scanner audio of CPD refusing to respond to shootings/clashes on mexican/black gang lines miles from my house. "let them wipe each other out" was what one said to the other. (you could probably find an audio recording if you look) I saw live feeds of violence on social media. No FOX, no CNN, a dude or lady with a camera. raw unedited stuff. people with cars full of products, ammunition and liquor bottles for sale by the case. These were not proud boys lmao

You are talking about TV. Im talking about friends, family and classmates who were there.
