Anyone else watching the Kyle Rittenhouse trial?

aka ICE.

which voluntary shift in your town do you wish?

Thank you for asking.

When I said voluntary, I meant the person(s) selling the security service would be paid by the person(s) who purchased it. Voluntary in the sense that both parties agree to it, like the multitude of grocery stores or other everyday services that feature choices for consumers.

I anticipate in that kind of market system, those who establish a good reputation would benefit and people would gravitate to them. Those who act like rogue cops do today, would shoot themselves in the foot figuratively and nobody would want to hire them. Their own shit headedness would drive them out of business. Just like a grocer who is surly and has crappy service and products etc.

I didn't necessarily mean "voluntary" in the sense that it would have to be unpaid or on a rotating basis of people who live in a given locale.

I'm not presently interested in providing security services to the general public, so I don't foresee me, "taking a shift".

Lol, you're a riot. You're in the same situation with your tax problem and you have a solution, but do nothing. Then you run around calling everyone a hypocrite. Project much?

Oh I know the rebuttal, mental gymnastics, nice try, still winning, blah blah blah.
I think you might be jealous that I'm smarter and better looking than you. I run into that all the time. Lol.

See my reply post to Schuylar just above if you are looking for my "solution" to the problem.

Your fascist Disneyland is now complete. In your fantasy, you have your sexual access to children, license to pollute the water supplies, a paid-for militia to keep your ass safe and provides the means to suppress opposition and keep the Black people away. If it weren't your cheap DIY solar panels that can't provide enough power to keep your beer cold it would be perfect.

You sound terribly misinformed and a little confused. Are you angry because you can't think of a decent rebuttal to my post on private security or are you angry because people mistakenly call you ma'am when you go to stores all triple masked up, looking scared and afraid the imaginary cooties are going to kill you?

Well, don't fill up before lunch.

Of course I will not be rioting. I'm happy to give people the world they want, because it's the only way they'll see they didn't want it.
I'm glad you won't be rioting.

I'm happy when people get everything they deserve. Sort of making our own karma thing.

It's not about getting what they deserve, or karma, it's just the only way that unwise people learn anything.
That's a reasonable point. Although when unwise people act unwisely their actions sometimes spill over into others lives. So a person who deserves better may be harmed or killed by a person who doesn't know better, doesn't care, or doesn't get held accountable. Hence why I like a little karma.

Sure, like Covid jerkoffs that can't be bothered to wear a mask to help their fellow man, which I'm guessing is someone like yourself..? Just the way it is for now. People are too narcissistic for collective reasoning.

Obvious defensive wound but i think they’ll get him for shooting before the guy could reload the skateboard, threat was over.
That's a murder one charge, which they're probably not going to get without that video of him talking about wanting to shoot looters prior to the shooting. They might though, if the jurors have been doing their own investigating. I know of someone that was a juror and not only did the jurors talk about the case, they also talked about outside evidence and previous convictions. Sometimes they get it right, no matter how hard a judge tries to stop it.
