Who's the breeders??

All gifted from an auto breeder that I have been trying to find for years now... WW,AK47,OG KUSH... Yeah the first ones I was slacking towards the end of the grow... I'm not really sure how long they grew between veg and flower but probably kept them longer than they should have...

Just wondering if any of you guys know of ways to delay modern autos from beginning to flower for at least an extra week or two? I've read some people think topping or supercropping can delay it. I've also read that auxins also delay flowering. Anything you guys know from personal experience?
Keeping them under 24 light until they start really flowering seems to get another week or two of veg growth before they really kick into budding. Lets them get bigger and develop more bud sites so should increase overall size and yields. Then you can switch back to 18/6 and save a little power. Cooler temps will just slow growth which defeats the purpose so give them the best environment possible.

After growing autos alongside photos for over 15 years, I've yet to observe delays of autos flowering had any effect on results. I'd suggest it's all in the growers skills at all stages that improves results.
Much smarter growers/breeders have had a part in the development autoflower industry....and instead of trying to change the dynamics, I just grow all I can so I can enjoy the differences.
I say just 'grow it and burn the evidence'.

I'd like the option to give my autos a little more time in veg if they're not as developed or as recovered from issues as I want them to be. But I still want them to flower regardless of light cycle.
You want autos that will allow you to veg however long you like to have time to fix any issues that may come about? That sounds pretty cool.. but that also sounds like you want to grow photoperiods lol
If you want an actual autoflower that has a longer veg time.. gotta plant em, and evaluate. I’ve had an auto start flowering after 3 weeks.. I’ve also had 1 go 5 weeks.
mid you want more options than that, I suggest just going with photos. Less guess work.

Jeezus ….

There is no stable method to delay an autoflower unless you purposely stress it. You more than likely stunt the god damn thing and then what ?

You can overfeed it , overwater it , kick it or whatever to gain what ?
I’ve had autos pull a fast flower at day 22 from germ …. So much for a decent veg .
They are unpredictable…. Both good and bad. That alone can affect what you get in end.

Shitty genetics , First gen offerings ( no further line work ) and unpredictability.
Just give them the best you can UPFRONT to ensure the best you can squeeze out of it. Grow skills play big into this.
Outdoor autos can get pretty big ( supers and xxl ) , indoors - DWC / HEMPY .

Sure there are some “ tricks “ to help :

Run 24/0 upfront for the best chance of rootmass then at preflower drop to 18/6 or 20/4 til end.
Add silica / kelp to all grow medium … is another trick.
Light aerated mixes allow for fast rooting ….. simple 1 or 2 part feeds also.
Stagger auto starts for perpetuals.
Autos can be topped , fimmed , super cropped .…… hell I chopped one in half ( still grew )

They are wired to run on their own terms .

If you prefer long veg … run photos . Run SOG clones or even 12/12 seed drops.

This is actually pretty stupid thread. He wants to grow them more coz hes noob who cant veg plants and decided to grow autos… why just not growing foto and flip when you want? Anyway you wont be able finish either auto or foto if you have issues in veg.
This is actually pretty stupid post. He wants to put OP down coz hes asshole with inferiority complex...why just not using Google Translate instead of struggle to spell and grammar? Anyway you wont be post like zis without zat "Well-Known Member" badge of honor, I know your type very well. Feel free to assume what you want about my grows if it helps you feel big.
