What the fuck. Disp prices in ILL are so much higher haha.You ain't moving nothing where I'm at. You can give it away but with all the dispensaries here in Portland the black market is dead. Most people don't care about all this tops shelf stuff people on the forums think they're growing. They can go down to a dispensary and choose from dozens of choices. $1 grams and $28 ounces. They can spend $25 and go home with half a dozen different kinds of weed.
This is a screenshot as an example of the deals they have at dispensaries around here. And before anyone starts going on about mids and all that you need to realize that mids are good enough for the vast majority of tokers out there. They'll pay $28 for an ounce of mids before they'll pay $150 an ounce for this "Top Shelf" stuff that only cannabis snobs on cannabis forums care about. That's the way it is.
60 for 3.5 grams with a medical card.

Oregon has the lowest prices and is buried in a surplus of weed. There was a million pound surplus a couple years ago. I don't know what the number is now.
Cannabis forums are just a fraction of cannabis users out there. There are hundreds of thousands of cannabis users here in the Portland area. Maybe a couple thousand have ever even gone to an online cannabis forum. Most don't give a damn about all the stuff people talk about online on the forums and are happy to have a dispensary where they can just walk in and buy some weed.
That price i posted is on the low end. There is more expensive stuff. But not everyone cares about top shelf buds. I know people buying the lower priced stuff that are perfectly happy with it. You get on the weed forums and many people seem to think that the majority of people out there give a damn about some "Cut" or "Breeder" like you see on the forums. They just want to get high and the lower priced stuff works for them just fine.

I think it's great the way they did it here in Oregon. They made it easy for anyone to get into commercial growing that wanted to not just those with deep pockets or connections. Some made it and some didn't. The price is going to continue to go down and I don't have a problem with that. It makes it more affordable for the consumer.
Cannabis is overpriced. You should be able to get an ounce of weed for $50 or less. It's not hard to grow. Legalization in Oregon proved that. Cannabis is just another crop like corn or tomatoes and should be priced as such. It's about time people to stop paying the ridiculous prices they have been for decades.

That’s literally what I did. I can only give away so much nuggets without people getting suspicious so I cut my grow back to my staple day and night strains. With my record with cannabis I can’t keep weight around either. I grow enough to smoke and eat, that’s all I need.Don't grow as much.

The black market is falling off here in Michigan too. But i think things will change back soon. Many people took out massive loans for buildings, equipment, overhead, taxes and licenses. Some didn't even make it. The big shops like cookies and gage are popping up everywhere. They have over priced bags of boof.
Ounces of top shelf fetch a hunid on the streets. Dispo ounces of moldy is about 250. usually like 50 an eighth for the average consumer. I have been hearing a lot of unhappy people getting got by the machine.

Are these actual prices? Where I am it’s like $ 20 grams and $75 eights at the dispo. I don’t buy that crap though, never been impressed with an example from dispo weed yet.

There's great product everywhere. It's not hard to grow great product. That's the problem in many legalized states. An overabundance of great weed. I don't subscribe to all the "Top Shelf" can only be grown by people on the weed forums. I've seen plenty and have smoked plenty of "Top Shelf" cannabis friends of mine have gotten from dispensaries. Many commercial growers are growing "Top Shelf" and that ends up in the dispensaries.
And they come in pretty little bags with all different colors. And they have a thc% listed by our crooked testing facilities that's been all over the news for passing mold and mildew. If that doesn't stop people from paying top dollar for garbage, I don't know what will.
Hell, Ill gift wrap your bag in holiday wrapping paper if you want to buy eighths for fifty LOL.

I can guarantee that there are plenty of commercial growers growing "Top Shelf" cannabis. Black market growers are not the only people that can grow weed. People are fooling themselves if they think what they're growing is so much better that it deserves the ridiculous prices they've been making from it or is so much better than what some of the commercial growers supplying dispensaries are growing.

I agree. A friend bought a top shelf gram the other day to try. He showed it to me and it was really nice. 60 for a gram. I had to laugh. Cocaine is cheaper than that.
