Watering, eh…kindly asking for some advice.

Hello,
So i have this problem with watering.

plants are in their 5th week of veg.

the last method i tried with was pot weighting.
Plants are in 6liter (1,7 gallon pots)
so i watered the plant on sunday with 3dcl of water and it weighted 1739 grams after that ( with very few drops of run off).
Today, two days after is 211g lighter and the plants seems a little bit droppy. But when i feel the soil i can still feel some coolnes. Should i water anyway?

i think i overwatered at the beginning ( to often),and dont want to repeat the mistake.

Will post picture of the flower.

thanks for input!

I can't imagine going through the process of weighing a pot lol just use common sense here. I literally just go in daily and lift the pots up. When you give a watering, check how heavy it feels. When it feels light again, water. Plants will tell you when they're starting to get thirsty. Typically the lower leaves start to droop and you can just tell it's thirsty.

Good Luck!

Your humidity is pretty low for the temps. Increasing that to 65-70% will get your environment in a better place for transpiration at this stage. Maintain good airflow and air exchange for the space and they will be super happy.

Very much apreciated!

will put a bowl of water in the tent, to raise RH.

airflow will remain maintained .

I would buy some trays to put directly under the pots to collect any runoff, plants can sit in a small amount of runoff (1/2" deep) they soak it up over an hour.
also, buy some larger trays, lift the pots and small trays about 2" and fill the larger trays with water, in effect you cover the bottom of your tent with 2" of water, your humidity will rise really quick, keeps your money in your pocket and the running cost low, a humidifier will take up valuable space and add more heat into the room, as the room warms up the humidity drops.

Buy a cool mist humidifier. Bowls of water do nothing. Same with hanging wet towels and yadda. It's easy enough to increase humidity in the tent using an affordable humidifier.
I have it, but i can not fit it in the tent. Less pots next time…

Will have to find some other solution this time.

and yes, small bowl of water did not help (no change in 1hr).

When my smaller humidifier took a shit, I hung a wet towel over a small rack on the floor near my plants. It raises the humidity almost immediately but it dries out pretty quickly with the airflow so you gotta keep an eye on it and keep rewetting it. I only kept it a few days until new humidifier arrived but it got me through a pinch....pic coming, gotta find one

Easy method is water until you get a little runoff and call it a day until they feel light again. Cool to the touch is fine but may not mean they're moist enough. FOr me I go by weight of the pots, I'm also growing in 10 gallon containers so it's a little easier to tell if its wet or not. Little pots are quite easy to lift even fully soaked so not the best method of testing.

You should measure how much water it takes until it runs off then give them that every 2-3 days as needed. As the plants mature you may need to increase how often or how much water you provide them.

Thank you very much, appreciated!
