I've had Blu lab wands that lasted a decade and ph pens go a bit faster but that's mostly user error as they need some upkeep..keeping sensors clean(cleaning them appropriately) and moist

I recently switched from a salt based nute at a few weeks into flower. Hit a White Widow with 60ml/gal Hercules and watch it explode! I pinched a popcorn bud and it was the sweetest tasting quick-dry nug ever. And that was Herc alone, so maybe I answered my own question but all info is appreciated as I dial in this line.

How many are incorporating OneShot to lessen the bottle use, specifically in Veg?
First run playing with Nectar for real. Multi-variety from seed checking out some new flavors. Had a few hiccups but I think I'm getting the hang of it

I wanted to try 4 shot but i learned about it after planting. I believe its #4 soil amended with 1 shot right? I know if im having deficiencies and cant figure it out, using 1 shot can be an easy fix. I couldnt even buy the #4 though because the shop i go to says that when they do slurry tests on it theyre getting ph readings in the high 8's. So i had to go with coco loco.

Do you think it’s overkill to brush my ph probes teeth every time I take a soil reading? I mainly use it in liquid to try and keep wear and tear down but sometimes I like to check the media. Maybe once every week probably less.
Anybody do business with oregons constant gardener?

Composition of the brush can dmg the sensors over time... soft bristle was always my choice

if you wait till fiday they have there sale going on .... i use 1 shot with my amended soil along with earthshine , worm castings ... and maybe some other stuff depends how i want to use it.. but with adding one shot before your grow and in veg you dont need alot of bottles ... teas and herc will get you thru as long as your ph supports it .....
alot are switching to cultured EON line .... same results ....
Ive gotta agree about the fast shipping. I got a UPS tracking number in hours.
With a discount code it was more reasonable than other sources.

Im doing a Fox farm vs Nftg side by side grow. The one on the left is FF the one on the right is NFTG. I wanted to add that the fox farm plant is a week older. I started the 1 ff plant and ended up buying the whole nectar line after watching the ocgfam show then started the other. Both the same strain.Gelat.Og. point is the nftg plant is bigger and healthier and is a week younger.

The only bottle i dont have yet is bloom khoas but its on ots way itll be here in a couple days and a lottle nervous to use it. Ive been following the roman regimen with photo plus and slf 100. Foliar feeding every morning with 1/4 strength Poseidonzime, Athenas, and Zues. Im in 2nd week of veg and just did first "flush" with 2 tbl of herc. I think i should try to make sure its loaded with calcium. When i get the BK im learning that i should slowly work it in there. I was figuring 1/4 strength and see how it reacts idk. Any thoughts? Advice? Brand new to the line.

So will doing slurry tests with the blue lab ph meter damage it? Kinda dumb question im sure it does over time

I was lead to believe the slurry teat test the water solution so, had far as their enough water present to transfer data it might... Hanna makes a great soil tester, they do goes out but you just have to take care of them
Over time , like 3 years of use …. Just remember when you do a slurry , make sure it’s the same water as you would use for feeding… and it’s a 1:1 ratio ….shot glass is good to use if you have one…
BK is great but not so great if your going a cookie or kush … if you want to play with BK I would Foiler right after you feed “soil drench” and start at 1/3 , 1/4 ,1/2 …. See how they react …..let’s say you do a slurry and your ppms are 200 then no don’t do it …. But if you have a high slurry 600 or higher then use a little BK …..

I did a feed this morning with an xtra tsp of hh and foliar fed bk at 1/4 strength and so far so good. Im gonna do a slurry tommorow see whete im at. Its an og ghoofully it does ok with it i wanna use it but will ease into it. Right now i feel like the plants are too compact and kinda want them to stretch a little becauseits hard to do any lst. Too many big leaves on such a short plant. I might untie them and let em stretch then tie em back down. I think thats what i did last time. Maybe its too much light too soon im up to 300w led 400w hid so 700w.Too much right now? Not sure. I want 1 plant to fill the tent and the othe next to it grown to about the same size outside the tent. I have a ts 1000 i can throw in there too. That would be 900w. For 2 plants should turn out nice its just hard training with all the ties and trying to water around them. I was thinking about a scrog. Im in week 2 of veg
