You're close. About 3 weeks close.I hope i can borrow this thread. I'd also got to the harvest soon i think, but im not sure. Guess im the kind of grower who are generally harvesting my plants too early ..
All of them are in day 64
The first one is Critical+2 and the others are three different phenos of lsd.
Whats your mind of these, im thinking of harvesting, but should i wait another week ?
You know homie clipping it straight on a fanOne vote yes, enjoy and Merry Christmas.Dry slowly and cool temps
The first two are done enough.. I personally would do another 10-14 days but for a new grower you can take it down and just commit to doing a slow dry and it will be great smoke. The last two need at least 2 closer to 3 more weeksI hope i can borrow this thread. I'd also got to the harvest soon i think, but im not sure. I prefer the plant to be 54.9% dead.Leaves shouldn't turn completely yellow. Plant should be healthy until the day of harvest.
But he's right plants should be just as green and healthy at the time of the chop as they were when they started.I prefer the plant to be 54.9% dead.
I would wait two more weeks, then post more pics and reevaluate.I hope i can borrow this thread. I'd also got to the harvest soon i think, but im not sure. Guess im the kind of grower who are generally harvesting my plants too early ..

In my opinion is fine to have soms little yellowing by the end of the flowering it s pretty normalBut he's right plants should be just as green and healthy at the time of the chop as they were when they started.
It's not normal though. It's just saying you stopped feeding or are having issuesIn my opinion is fine to have soms little yellowing by the end of the flowering it s pretty normal
Beside yield does it affect bud quality/potency?It's not normal though. It's just saying you stopped feeding or are having issues
Yes it affects thc and terpenes. Starving plants is never a good thing.Beside yield does it affect bud quality/potency?
Not necessarily the plant should think it’s dying. That it’s time has come to an end soon. It will not only consume the food you are feeding but will eat what it has available in resources in the stalks and leaves as well I always wait till I get some yellowing in my leaves. Note has to be the right kind of yellow. you can clearly tell the difference between a hungry plant and necrotic plant if you pay attentionIt's not normal though. It's just saying you stopped feeding or are having issues
Here's the kicker you're not doing the plant any favors by letting it yellow. What you are doing is putting the plant into survival mode. At that time the plant starts to cannibalize itself to effectively stay alive. Thc and terpenes development will come to a crawl/stop. If you want to produce the best then grow like plants need to grow. If you want to simply follow bad science then do the bro science. The logic that something magic is going to happen other then starving the plant always leaves me scratching my head. I've done this for awhile I have a degree in both plant and computer sciences and have my own commercial operations spanning from 6500 to 18k sqft and soon to be another one. I've done testing with the same cuts. I don't mean one or two plants either I'm talking 2 tables of plants dome one way and the other done the right way and testing has shown time and time again thc, terps, flavor and smell are better overall in the in the ones that were still green and happy. Not necessarily the plant should think it’s dying. I’d wait but watch the trichomes too, looks goodI hope i can borrow this thread. I'd also got to the harvest soon i think, but im not sure. Guess im the kind of grower who are generally harvesting my plants too early ..

Do you harvest your plants when the trichomes are all brown? You're close. About 3 weeks close.
"green and healthy" have you ever grown anything but Gorilla Glue #4? Most the strains in my stable all turn purple/yellow once they're ready to be harvested. I do a week flush of just plain water in coco. I think that's an oldschool concept like not plucking leaves. But he's right plants should be just as green and healthy at the time of the chop as they were when they started.
