New AC Infinity clip fans??? WUT?!?!

yea definitely a waste of a controller port, the controller 67 is kinda what is needed here to make the most of what they are rolling out - I use one and really like it
I'd like to pick up a couple of these and try em out, I haven't been disappointed with any acinfinity products i've tried so far - I don't really need any more fans but like the idea of more well-positioned, smaller fans rather than a couple bigger ones.
The "new" ac infinity controller uses USB C (with adaptor dongles to allow "old" cloud fans with molex to also work). I imagine it's just a matter of time before they launch something with say four or more ports for larger setups.

New as in unreleased? The fan port is usb c, but it connects via the standard ac infinity connector to the controller. I sure hope they dont sunset their current connectors, I just bought my 3 intake/exaust fans and a model 67 controller this year.

I think 67 is still their flagship controller. But with their "Lite" series of inline fans the bundled controller has two usb-c connectors instead of the usual 4 pin molex on their other controllers. Prob to make it as compact as possible. There's usb c to molex adaptors so the molex connector fans should still work fine in the future.

Yeah, that controller doesn't do any humidity triggers...though it does have minimum fan speed, transition control, etc. Possibly automations, but they're coy in the documentation, so maybe not.

Thanks for the update. Now, I can quit checking their inventory every damn day.
They listed the basic one w/o oscillation. I’ll be holding out though. Not a bad price, all things considered. I’m sure this could work for LED cooling etc for many people, especially if you get creative with the probe/controller. Kind of surprised it has a data port considering the price. Really thought they’d make this a dumb fan.

On another note. Has anyone seen the New Newer newest controller, god I’m having trouble keeping up with these guys. Controller 69, the king pin of controllers. It’s basically everything we’ve been whining about for the past 2 years. Better late than never I guess! Note the price on it. Cheaper than I paid for the 67.. https://www.acinfinity.com/hvac-home-ventilation/ductwork/inline-fan-systems/controller-69-independent-programs-for-four-devices-dynamic-temperature-humidity-scheduling-cycles-levels-control-data-app/

Cool so four USB-C connectors and two C to molex adaptors bundled for the inline fans.

Yeah, I'll be happy to wait for some oscillating fans, one up top covering the whole canopy, one underneath sweeping the lowers and all good. Great price on these given they'll have the connectivity.

Yeah, waiting for it along with the new fans. You can also get adapters that make one control port into two, if you're having them do the same thing. Love the idea of controlling the LED brightness with the same controller and being able to adjust it precisely through the day and/or grow cycle...but I'm not really looking to jump from the 3x HLG 225's I bought last fall. Maybe someone will come up with a system to use it with other lighting platforms.

I’d like to get at least a year out of my HLG 300L. If AC Infinity create single point of light source (Look up RedSea160s - imagine that LED fixture with warm white/red LED combo. It’s very similar in performance to a true HID/HPS fixture with the stadium lens they use. I’d be interested in making the jump to new lights then. Imo: QBs are still too T5 like in terms of usable PAR. I can’t get the same under canopy penetration. I still can’t replicate the performance of a 600w HPS in terms of flower density, let alone CMH. Don’t get me wrong, I’m achieving a good 80% density @ half the running cost. I’m not complaining. Hopefully AC Infinity will look into it. And not just replicate old COB style or QB technology. There are other inovations in LED tech out there that could trickle into the horticulture industry. AC Infinity seem like they’re on a mission anyway. I love it

Are you using the bspec or rspec? I have been using the rspec for maybe 6months now and 250watts just ain't enough, I am ready to buy a new lamp already.
