I'm in week 3 of flowering and I split the main stem at the top. It split about an inch or two so I taped it back together. Is this going to be okay what negative effects will I have? Here's a picture of the plant but it literally just happened in the lights went out so I didn't get time to take picture of the split. Look she's smoking is there anything I can do to help my plant I'm really mad at myself?IMG_20220205_154531_815.jpg

Duct tape and superglue. Ive done it a handful of times. the superglue has been a lifesaver. Its slightly stressful on the plants but it happens
I was adjusting one of my tie downs and must have pulled down on it too hard I didn't even notice I did it. The thing is is I only had like 10 minutes before lights out so I hurried up and untied all the branches so I can get it back together and then took that rubber coated green garden wire the soft kind and just wrapped it really tightly around it and then put a zip tie over that and zip tied it tight and left all the branches untied until morning because I ran out of time. That plant was looking nice too I'm pissed. I'm going to have to doctor it up in the morning. I wish I could just drip some rooting hormone in there and it would just heal back together.

If its a serious break, i would be much more concerned with making sure you fix it enough to stay alive than if youre in the room with lights off right now. A few minutes with a flashlight or even the light back on momentarily literally one time isnt the end of the world. If youre really worried put an all green screen on your phone and use that as the light source, green light doesnt interrupt flowering

duct tape it back into place, and drip superglue in the open crack. It will heal stronger than before within a day. I always keep this stuff in my weed plant first aid kit

It's funny you say that I was just in there with my green screen making sure I had it tied up okay. The plant really only has three nodes and the split only went down far enough to cut off the top node it was like an inch inch and a half long. I've heard super glue works. The thing is I'm going to have to tie some of the branches back down so it's not all bunched together so I'm going to have to make some type of splint.

Hammer and nail works everytime. Plus the old nail in the stem trick stresses it out and adds mad thc.

Kicks that plant into chuck norris mode and starts kicking out the thc like you ain’t never seen.

It’s one of many tricks I’ve heard from old guy in hydro shop. It’s basically science. Trust me.

Tape it and don't mess with it is the best you can do and it should be fine. Happened to me many times. I would definitely not use super glue.
Are you speaking from experience? Have you had adverse effects with it? Maybe the tape you can zoom in and see near the middle alone would have saved the soon-to-be huge branch that i overbent and split on this plant i grew last year, but she sure didnt mind the glue i put in the split either.
