Growers LED choice ?

No I don't have the controller for the lumatek light but I've got an inkbird for humidity and an inkbird to control the temps, they are both wifi so I can control it through my phone, but in the future I am looking at getting a controller that controls everything, even the night time temps and the light and stuff :)
Its all new to me so if you don't mind. I will probably lurk on some of your post

I have a setup from TimberGrowlights.
4yrs and never a isssue. solid simple design that grows very well.
top knoch customer service.

this will smash a 4x4.
I think Jeremy Silva @ BuildASoil is about to do a new Youtube grow series with Timber fixtures.

Update - HLG replied to my question. An external dimmer comes with the kit. I wasted a lot of time on that. Hope nobody else does.
I'm glad you found an easy solution after they wasted your time. The driver they have pictured does not have external dimming. It's a shame they can't get correct and sufficient info in their product descriptions.

I have seen these had a read on them quite good I think lol but I know nada about leds

Lordy. It does NOT have an external dimmer. I just got it yesterday. Frstrating that the same driver with external dimming costs only $3.50 more but you can't get it with the kit. I put the driver outside of the tent, not on the light, so it isn't a big deal to me & it's still a very good deal and an excellent light but Jesus y Maria.

The dimming adjustment screw is on the back of the driver, second to last page of the data sheet...

HLG scorpions are essentially the same light with a decent reputation. Get the newest version. I just don't like exposed drivers on these quantum boards

That light is nothing like a scorpion. Completely different design. You're thinking HLG 550R, except that even that isn't really a direct comparison.

Do you want something with all the bells and whistles? There are a few that have automated controllers, 0-100% dimmable and tunable spectrums.
I want something I can rely on really im in uk so hlg hard to get I was looking at these

No, I use a SF4000 & will have a SE3000 added to the mix soon.

I would have seriously considered a MIGRO light going back.
Cool bud I would be cheaper driving to Ireland get it lol thanks anyways it is a nice light though looks good.

I have been looking at spiderfarmer as well

Haha wasn't sure, I know he deals with a lot of Euro customers. I'm loving the Spiderfarmer lights so far but haven't had a chance to take plants through full flower cycle yet so that's still TBD. You can usually find them on sale/coupon codes.

I'd be willing to ship you one of our lights form Canada with a controller. Power wise they are a bit more powerful and we have tunable spectrums as well. It might also end up being cheaper with shipping than buying the light and controller together in the UK. Message me if you want me to send you some more details.
