I’ve only run a handful of strains but 11 weeks seems to be the average so far, I was really surprised when this one started turning so soon. I did see quite a few people say they harvested at 7 weeks when I was reading about c99 but figured they had to be harvesting half white pistils.
that jolly rancher seems to be similar to my c99. Looks like the pistils turn first then the bud swells, that or it’s gonna stay the dense compact buds.
unfortunately I held off on X-TREME defoliation this time so I’ll never know what could’ve been…

I am not sure where I recorded 45 from, now that I look, Sour Boggle is 49 from flip, in flower. The Bogglegum I grew out was pretty much done after 7 weeks from flip. Lifesaver is 50 to 60.

There's nothing quicker than eight weeks and at eight weeks it will be ready but can go longer for a little extra buzz.
Everything I run is 60days two months but I could leave longer and all are eight week strains.
I don't see why some argue, no breeders times are accurate to the day and you don't have to leave it the longest to get some top smoke.
Assuming ruderals would be the quickest just because that's their focus in life. Lets all get along, there's no prize for the winners and although there's a perfect time to harvest being early or late a little doesn't mean it's shit.

Dudes been growing buds longer than i been alive. Thats some humbling shit
My jiggler plants seem to bud fast, then ripen slowly.
I know there are some tricks like growing medium and playing with lights to get plants to mature alittle faster.

there are folks on RIU that started growing in the 70s.... I'm not special, just getting old.
I definitely agree regarding the amber percentage! I personally prefer maybe 5% amber at most, at least up til now. Maybe because I am old and fall asleep pretty easily already!

Everyones opinion of "ready" is different. I've had Symbiotic Punch Cookies be "ready" in 60 days.. Bubba's Gift cut was ready in 45-50 days..
My opinion of ready is when the buds have fully swollen, pistils are orange, trichome heads are milky/cloudy with some ambers starting, chop chop. Oh and Punch Cookies is interesting it will almost completely stop drinking & eating once its almost ready.. Carrying up the pots when that happens is not a lot of fun.
Some users on here will suggest you bloom for "another 3 weeks" when the trichomes already are ripe.

Guys if you got plants that finished in under 8 weeks we would all have that strain or cut. In a year that would be one extra crop and weight.
You seem desperate to argue, say we found a seven week then some asshat would argue he had a six week.
Same shit happened with thc, one day thc max was 30 then 35 then 40 and above but it was all bullshit!

Pics taken on day 42 she’s done by day 53 and I mean done! This one was grown in 1/2 gal of soil. Yielded 35grams. I know that’s not alot but it was a hella small plant straight from rooted clone to flower

Myself and another well known breeder I know each have a different 55 day pre99 DJ’s blueberry. Legit 55 day plants, I’ve ran mine too many times to count and tried longer but 55 days is where it’s at.
I crossed it with a Blue Satellite and I’m working on my F2’s currently. The best plant I’ve found from my F1’s has been a 63 day blueberry but I’m sure that 55 day is in there.
