CO2 Bag Location

Just wondering if it’s ok to hang the mycelium co2 bag under my grow light I’m trying to keep it closer to the plants sense I need my exhaust fan to keep temps down

But you can still produce so turkey tail mushrooms, put a knife through the side every ten centimeters and put a bag over it for humidity.

They aren't edible but you can grind them down into a supplement maybe find some use.

You just wasted your money.
Deep thoughts:
-Mushroom bags don't produce enough CO2 even in a sealed room to do much of anything.
-CO2 is really for sealed rooms and particularly if you're going hot.
-Tents are not 'sealed' enough even before you put in intake/exhaust measures.
-Once you are exhausting/have airflow coming in/out they REALLY do nothing.
-Hanging anything of that size/shape in the middle of your plant-scape will only reduce direct lighting so some plants
-That bag truss is a recipe for a 'I had an accident and my shroom bag crushed my precious plants' thread soon.

WOW wasn’t expecting so many people to be offended by me trying something I was given for free to simply try and can’t see how it can hurt but thought this place was to help each other not bash and make you feel like you can’t simply ask a question without having that one guy who knows it all and wants to make sure you remember you don’t jumping in… anyway I’ve herd exactly what most say about vented room but my tent is in a 12x15 sealed area and like I said it was given to me to try thanks for the actual help and advice the people on here that come to do that and really help out

Like you said, it certainly won't hurt but it's also likely to have a minimal effect. Sealed room will help immensely to contain any CO2.

The only way to determine the usefulness of the mushroom bag is to use a C02 sensor; otherwise you'll be clueless.

No one is offended apparently other than you. Everyone was just letting you know it was a waste of time and money, but since it was free I guess it's only the former.

You are still exhausting out of the tent. Any CO2 created is being removed from the grow area.

Your best two, actually effective, CO2 bags you have in a tent grow setup are in your chest ;) just breathe. That's all they need.

You mentioned the room your tent is in, is sealed, so if you have the tent kinda recirculating the air in the room, this might work. My opinion, put it next to, or above the bar light; the light beating down on that bag can't be good, unless I'm wrong and the light is speeding up the gassing-off process. . ..

Do you even need it at all though? Have you measured your light intensity?
