Is the Catpiss strain still around?

Its around i bet but far as i know theres 3 catpiss cuts i think norcal socal and the 3rd san diego or some other place like that Feel free to chime in if ye know better? i think they vary genetics wise too i know that rare dankness seeds released some catpiss hybrids a while back maybe look into those ?

I have several versions of catpiss seeds. 707's, AKBB's Hawaiian catpiss, Rare Dankness' version, JR's catpiss, Archive's Code Blue, Cheetah Piss. and was involved in a co-op run of 707's Catpiss that I got about 50 seeds of. The guy who ran those seeds said the catpiss odor was almost eye watering.

It’s crazy Bc I been tryna find some I tried a 10 yr old pack of code blue but nothing I do have a archive pack on the way and another from around the first drop in 2012

Speakeasy seeds has the 707 Catpiss in stock. The JR cut, I believe is a Super Silver Haze pheno. I read somewhere that Nevil and Shantibaba tried breeding SSH away from the catpiss pheno because neither of them liked it. There are lots of stories around about catpiss. Seems like everyone thought the had the original catpiss. San Diego, Nor Cal, Southern Cal, Ohio catpiss, and we had a local clone here in Western PA that has catpiss odor that was just amazing. I had that one for awhile, but it just seemed to lose it's flavor and potency over the years. I was able to obtain another clone from the original source, but it too had changed over the years. Also wanted to add, and I don't know for a fact this is true, but I heard that Shabud of 707 seedbank lost his original stock through a breakup with his wife. I don't know how true that is, but something to keep in mind. There is an interesting podcast with Shabud and another guy kinda battling it out over who had the original catpiss. I'll see if I can find it and post a link.

Norcal Cat Piss clone hybrids from Archive are the same as 707 Seed bank Cat Piss clone. 707 sourced and shared the Norcal Cat Piss clone with Archive and CSI Humboldt. All the same clone. This is the indica looking but pissy haze smelling one.
Socal Cat Piss is a clone Archive sourced. He shared it with Rare Dankness. And that's the one RD uses. Its more of a old school skunk kush ammonia smelling one.
Based on my experiences growing all the above hybrids from each breeder, this appears to be consistent.

Catpiss is just a terp profile found in many different genetic combinations.
Haze frequently throws the incense catpiss phenos.
Old SSH cuts can be catpiss.
Mexican commercial also had catpiss.
Hemmy Black & Darkling Sativa are both super pissy in the bag but not much incense when burnt.
Cheetah Piss is bullshit but still good smoke.
ObamaRuntz by Redbeard are almost all Batpiss with some very incense phenos.
But catpiss in breeder seed form doesn't come close to the old California catpiss.
Oh ya old school chronic from Diego has a catpiss BX seed that i would like to try. His is old SSH

Right, the local clone we had that had a catpiss odor came from a bag of weed in 1980 they just called 2 puff stuff. It looked more indica than sativa, had double serrated leaves, and tasted like blonde lebanese hash. Anyone who had it says it's the best they ever had, and I agree.

That lingering incense seems to keep taking me higher . It's gotta have that incense to be good piss.
I think I like the batpiss of obamaruntz just as much as an old hazey catpiss.
The batpiss has the damp cave "bromine" smell like Pirates of the Caribbean with heavy Uric acid in a batcave of piss & guano. Its incense lingers longer than most.

I've only read one grow report on AKBB where they grew both Hawaiian and Showers alongside 707piss.
The grower didn't find what he wanted in any of them. Although they were pissy.
I just assumed he was hunting for the incense because that wasn't in the smoke description.
Is there incense in either of the AKBB strains?

I've heard nyc piff was a similar lineage to catpiss ssh x columbian sativa, very similar to catpiss in aroma too. Not really sure about that piff lineage though. I don't think anybody is.. I'd pay a $1000 for a clone of it..

Never grown his Hawaiian, just read a blurb about it being one of the first strains he worked with. Crossing it with nl1 and then back to the original.
Got his nl5/haze going now.
