IF the PH rises that means your Plants are intaking Nutes that is a good thing just stay on top of your res and keep it between 5.5-6.1Title says it all and this never happened to me before. I've underfeed the plant or overfeed the plant a little in DWC and the rez is stuck at 6.3ph. I will use ph down to get it to 5.5-5.8 range and the next day its up to 6.3 again. What's going on?? On day 18 of flower, its been doing this since day 1 of flower.
I go as low as 5.4 and let it swing up to 6.4.Some growers use ph swings to their advantage.
My swing is like 5.5-6.2... But like I said its stuck at 6.3 now .I go as low as 5.4 and let it swing up to 6.4.
Its a 20 gallon low profile ground rez.. I will bleach the shit out of it when the grow is over.Or dirty rez any fulvics or things like that built up on barrel
How much do you trust your probe? My swing is like 5.5-6.2... But like I said its stuck at 6.3 now .
I have 2 of them that are colibrated. How much do you trust your probe?
Sounds to me like ya plants are happy at that ph. If there not showing any issues. Leave em be but monitor em. I having a similar issue at minute. My ph just won't stop dropping. 6.0 every morning . Next morning 5.7. Rest rinse repeat ph issue again. But ec is also going down too, and my understanding so long as ec is going down and ph is rises shits good.anything different not so good, but this time and last grow same issues and results last time was fairly good. And this time time with a tweak or two and a co2 bag, things have been kinda mind-blowing. But with same ph issue.Title says it all and this never happened to me before. I've underfeed the plant or overfeed the plant a little in DWC and the rez is stuck at 6.3ph. I will use ph down to get it to 5.5-5.8 range and the next day its up to 6.3 again. What's going on?? Still doing this although not as bad as before were plants were dying. Why would I be having problems with my tap water all of a sudden for the last 2 months?? Its city tap water with a ph of 7.4 and a ppm of 160. I lived in the same house for 7 years and no problems.I'd be willing to bet that the issues is that you are using tap water, which has a high carbonate content and is buffering the ph, causing it to rise. Switch to RO, and this will likely resolve.
My plants got lock out and stopped drinking. I cleaned everything and started over now its doing it again.... Could the ph have gone bad? But I will set the ph back down to 5.8 to 6.3 and the next day 6.3 again.... Here are pics from today. The previous plants 3 weeks ago all stopped drinking water and wilted and main stems got purple. I cleaned everything and started over... Its the ph that keeps rising to 6.3-6.4 range and then plant doesn't drink.I really wouldn't be disappointed with a constant swing that stops at 6.3 ph. 6.3 is still in the ideal range for your res.
