I've used AN for 20 years but mostly in DWC or with soilless medium like ProMix HP but never real dirt.

You're rockin' those plants with it for sure!

Edit: I just noticed the strain you're growing. I have a DJ BB x Island Sweet Skunk strain from a buddy. Flowering Pink Kush now among others.

Thanks you, I am very impressed with the AN nutes in soil so far. This is my first grow since I was in college about 10 plus years ago. I was using Canna nutes back then. I always wanted to grow some DJ short strains and finally got the chance to do so, so far so good!

Headed into week 3 of flower On tuesday! They are really starting to stretch those legs!View attachment 5134050
Usually about the end of week 3 the stretch slows to a stop so they shouldn't get much taller tho will gain a couple inches yet as the top colas grow and fatten up. The flowering period is about 40:60 with stretch being 40% of the total time it takes to harvest from the flip. A strain that takes 10 weeks to finish will be doing the stretch thing for 4 weeks. They also feed a lot heavier during the stretch too as it's a big growth spurt so I load them up with nutes and Big Bud a week before the flip, fire up my alcohol lamp for extra CO2 and give them lots of light while letting the temp rise to 85 - 90F. I've already topped a few times and rather than tie tops over I just massage the stems over every time I'm with the plants so the tall tops are at or below horizontal and the side branches grow up as small colas kind of like a screenless ScroG.

For plants like yours I'd just put a point on a bamboo stake and drive it down to the bottom of the pot so the top of it is just a little shorter than the top cola. Then if any side branches look to get heavy enough to need support I use long pipe cleaners from the branch near the top over to the stake. Sometimes I just let them lean against the wall. :)

They look like they should bud heavy so you'll probably need something later.

They look super gd. Nice job for 10+ years grow break. Better then alot that have been trying for some time. Curious to your tent size, pot size, light u using and your feeding. Hard to see leaves under that light you've been using since the flip to flower. But from the veg photos i saw no burnt tips so I figure ur dialing nutes in gd. Especially using ffof u gotta know when start and how much to use. Can I get some bud porn without the light on it?:eyesmoke:

I’m using sensi ph perfect for coco. Ab grow and bloom plus all the finishers along with terpinator. I’d have to say. It went from the most time consuming tent due to making sure the ph was spot on. Wasting water all the time for over shooting my acid level Thing of the past. I’ll add this to your thread because ph perfect will pop up in search probably.
I HAVE A REP WITH ADVANCED NUTRIETS. DO NOT AD PH ADJUSTMENTS. EVEN IF PH IS IN 4s or 7and 8s. it’s chelated nutrient formula made for all food acceptable at range 4.5-8.0. I use RO. So it does exactly what the bottle promised. 2.0 ec and 5.7-5.8 ph.
But I ran with tap at first. No problems for the 2-3 weeks I used it with tap. No ph additives used. Ph watered in at 6.8. Pure coir. However. With tap. You WILL NOT get the full 5-1 benefits the company promises. Those promises are formulated with RO. And they will achieve those promises if this product is used correctly

Great job bro! Us AN people need to stick together. So many people mis use their products and slut shame them across the boards.

Grow monster, thanks man! I’m currently using 1000w m/h(veg) and hps (flower) with digital ballast, 5 gallon grow bags, fox farm soil, and honestly I started feeding them at half strength and worked my way up to just under full strength. Both strains have been consistent heavy feeders and I honestly feed them a liter each of nute mix everyday as soon as the lights turn on. Ph perfect works awesome I’ve always used canna nutes before this run but I’ll never go back now AN is so much more forgiving. AN nutes are expensive but you get what you pay for. I’ll get you a lights off pic a lil later. Happy growing

Nice looking plants. Where I live it gets really dry in the fall, so keeping it moist is critical. A small room in my basement is close to a steady 60 degrees F. I put in a humidifier with an Inkspot controller. It keeps the RH in a 55%-65% range. So after a few weeks or a little more, at a constant 60/60, it's ready to jar, and it's at exactly the right RH to go into the jar. The jars get burped, just to keep things aerobic for a while. After a month of decreasing burp intervals, the jars are ready to cap with no further burping. A month or two after that, the cure is complete.

Can I get some more info on nutes and light schedule? I ask cuz u got a powerful light and its looks spot on according to leaves. They are not prayering or lazy. They are at perfect resting peace(to the side). What distance is light from tops. My guess is 24"-30" except maybe that one wild top u got. Most newbies think closer is better which in most cases opposite. And your nutes is dialed in gd cuz ffof can be tricky. Mine always run hot so I can't feed em for almost entire veg. Then I only feed em AN on a weekly schedule(like the chart suggest). Ive learned they do just as well with a ton less nutes givin which saves $$. So what strength/ppm are u at, do u just divide the week feeding to a daily dose since u feed daily. Some won't let there ppm go over there light watts. Since u got gd light u got alot of room to work with. My case I got 250watt led(equals 600watt hps). Alot of folks overfeed there plants which is ok especially in your case were u slowly ramped it up and they liked it and can handle it. All strains can be lil diff. with different environments. I only need to water ffof every 3 days in 5gallon pots. 2 days in 3gallon pots. Coco daily. And the feeding is usually feed water water feed to keep nutes salts from building up. Drop some knowledge on these fools! Lol there a ton of different ways to do this and still achieve great results. Your method should be shared cuz your results are awesome dude.:blsmoke:

Grow monster I am definitely not any kind of master grower. The formula I stick to is lots of air movement, good nutes, ph at 6.3-6.5 in soil, and proper lighting. Other then that the plants did the rest. As far as the feeding schedule goes I just watered for the first two weeks of veg because as you said ffof has plenty in it. I made sure not to over water think I started out watering a cup a plant when they were small and have slowly increased volume based on size and how they looked. I’ve honestly been kind of winging it with the feeding schedule, started slow and ramped it up slowly over a period of time and they loved it. I keep my light 24”-30” away and it is air cooled. The tent is 4x4 and overcrowded. In hindsight I would only put 4-5 plants max in it. This has been a very fun rewarding experience that I’m glad I did! I just found out my wife is pregnant so it looks like this will be my only run for awhile. That being said I’ll post the nutrient line up I used in a pic. I also used mammoth booster through whole grow.
