That true. I suppose you can only get certain inputs from feed store like alfalfa and kelp. If you must use guano then you’re going to have to pay the fees involved in harvesting guano and importation fees. I’m sure finding a ethically sourced guano would be quite expensive as well.
That was a more outlandish example, but I still literally see DTE in local feed stores, if not that, it's some other brand that's the same thing for probably more $, seeing as how the bigger the distribution, the cheaper it is to ship.
My local stores all have a slightly higher price, due to being small businesses.
Again, perhaps you could show an example of a locally source kelp or alfalfa...perhaps peat is local to you as well? Or crab shell, literally whatever you use, DTE is a good brand that can be had by most anyone in USA, vs your local feed stores, idk, that will depend on your region and if you live in a Hotspot of organic gardening for the most part
