Do you tell a person when their plant is shitty?

Can terps also make you feel buzzed like THC or are terps mainly for flavor and smell profiles?
Terps are really the "medicine" behind weed. THC is the catalyst that sets them off. It's called the entourage affect. Pardon the sloppy writing, but we study terps in all of our strains. You can see what terpenes are good for different aliments. It dosn't take much THC to set them ablaze if you have a good terpene profile.IMG_7825.jpg

If I was your friend I would say you’re doing great so far.

don’t count your chickens before they’ve hatched.

your lower leaves are looking N deficient while the tops look very dark green.

You’ll need bigger pots within the next 7-14 days.

and stop worrying about MAX THC.

if you want max THC you’ll need to phenotype hunt through some seeds of 1 strain as no 2 seeds will ever grow exactly the same so we pheno hunt for the plants we wish to keep such as high THC, low stretch, mold resistance, pest resistance, high/low heat resistance, drought resistance, bud density, bud structure, terpene profiles the list goes on and on like @DoubleAtotheRON has said.

This is what we had found with a pheno of Dosi Whoa! (Dosido X Ethos Kush RBX4) about 4 years ago. She's always came in with the same numbers at the lab, takes a beating with the nutes, has never failed for microbes (we have a 10,000 CFU limit), last batch came back with "NONE DETECTED"... very easy to grow, best yield we've ever had, that's why I hung onto that pheno. Pheno hunting is time consuming, but once you find her... don't let her go!
This is a mom is was going to retire, but figured I just run her in the tent. I had already gotten all my clones for the main room from her. This was 15 days ago, so you can imagine how close she's getting. I vegged her for 3 and a half months. LOL! Canopy is 4x6, tent is 4x8.

Idk I have grown some really ugly plants that produced phenomenal bud. Looks aren’t everything; they don’t all look like a High Times centerfold. Usually by the time my plants are fully ripened most of the fans have shriveled up and died. Just cuz a plant looks gross doesn’t mean it won’t end up being great smoke/concentrate/butter.
On the other hand also have a friend…let’s call him Moldy Larry who still has not figured out how to properly dry their shit. Dude lives near the water so what can you do besides run 2 dehumidifiers & an A/C. When he gives me samples to try I don’t have the heart to tell him it still smells like hay. Some things you must figure out on your own; embrace your mistakes along the way…

Friends don’t let friends battle “calmag deficiency” alone hahahaha
Failing that just raise ur eyebrows and say “about a pound” lol jk

in all seriousness it’s best to give advice in a friendly way, keep in mind everyone has their own journey and none are without hurdles along the way

I screw up a couple plants a year but if I don't I'm not trying to get better. I can grow the same way every run and get the same results or try new stuff and risk really screwing stuff up on occasion. Maybe your friends plant is just such an experiment??
I feel this. I've spend the past year screwing up perfectly fine plants in the name of experimentation.

Your bragging about a ratio of 7%thc to 5%terpenes.
And you were only able to pull 11%-2% with Colin’s genetics? What happened? I just smoked some killer ass crescendo that was 29% and 6%. I can’t vouch for 10th planet.
but i figured all of ethos was relatively decent. I’m not bashing you. I’m just confused on why ethos numbers are so low? I know your a great gardener.
