Do you tell a person when their plant is shitty?

This a is a texting site. There goes your assumptions agains mr grow god. What are you now. KGB spy?
I’m not even sure what this post is supposed to mean.

You stated you smoked a strain at a certain THC and terpene content.

I asked you if you had it tested. You didn’t answer but said everything was tested in your shops.

Instead of just saying “No I didn’t test it I bought it at a shop where everything is tested” you went on to be a colossal asshole. You seem to be the one with the issue.

how did these plants get like this? they have no swagger, they look like retarded corn cobs that forgot they were corn cobs halfway through growing and started growing as soimething else. where are the sparkles? serious question, what happened to these plants?
I don’t even know where to start..

First of all the plant has been battered unrecognizable by what I would assume was a novice grower. It looks like they may have been trying to grow organically & likely don’t know the first thing about organics.

Next time they may want to try & acquire better genetics and not grow bag seed or whatever this was.

Lmfao. Now your narcissistic. Good one bud.
I’m far from an asshole. Very kind heart. Even to you. But your parents did not raise you with manners and you think it’s cool.

did your parents give up on you or something?. Idk. Not my business. I can speak for a lot of people when it comes to your POINTLESS sarcasm is not needed where constructive criticism is. You don’t know the difference lmao. That. Or your intentions are to be negative and insulting. Either or is bad for your mental health. Maybe you should stop hiding within your keyboard and see the world. It’s a lot better than you think. Become a little more open minded than open assed.

and your question to me. Was an assumption again. Like always. You know it all.

I asked a question. I didn’t assume anything. You could have gave a straight answer, instead you decided to be an asshole.

Let’s start over and try again.

Did you have the Crescendo tested?

Organic no till bro
how do I avoid growing plants like this? I at least owe it to them to grow them into something remotely beautiful.

look at those plants, they look absolutely miserable, they're practically BEGGING to be taken out back like old yeller. this is the equivalent of those bad pet owners who leave their animals to fend for themselves for months on end

I’m guessing the latter.

that’s an assumption
I made a guess. The vast majority of people don’t test their home grows. This forum is mostly about your own grows. I figured you were just using the numbers from the breeder. It was a fairly safe guess/assumption/what ever you want to call it based on all the other factors.

Let’s start over and try again.

Did you have the Crescendo tested?

Or do you want to act childish and refuse to answer a simple question.

you must be a different kind of something.
Check your diet. Idk what’s going on in your head. But Tryin to turn tables around. Saying you didn do something you clearly put in words. Using my exact words. Idk man.
but I’ll bite.

How I found out about ethos was thru crescendo and the grower plus some of this forum. So yes. I got it from a shop in east La. And yes. Lab tested. And why do you care so much. Are you gonna fly to the collective and buy it? Your very push on how I know it was tested.

idk where your from or how much or even how common it is. But at 160 dollars a lb. Why not test it. It’s only 160 usd for me. And down the street and takes around 5-10 business days. Weekends if you know the guy. What is your obsession with my info. Where I live, Weed is everywhere. And everyone’s testing it. Even if it’s just for fun and not to sell. It’s common in Los Angeles. Very common. Other wise we wouldn have so many labs. It wouldn be productive. And they have 10 gram Minimums. I don’t even know how much that cost. Free to 50 bucks. I really don’t know. But at 160 a lb. Count me in this year.

Local lab testing here is $50 for THC content and $25 for terpene profile. There are other a-la-carte tests you can select in addition to those above. Mycotoxins, heavy metals, pesticides, etc.

I don’t understand the pricing of $160 per lb though. Do they require you to submit an entire pound? That’s weird.

I’m not obsessed with your info, not sure where you got that idea from. I was just looking for a simple answer from you that apparently took like 10 posts to get.

Same prices here for testing roughly.

10 post is quite a bit for you to not care. Hmm.

anyhow. You can’t sell squat legally unless it past thru numbers of test. And all flower must be tested. Not just a few grams.
If it’s being packaged for consumers. It’s tested. So yeah. Per pound makes a ton of sense. I’m surprised you fellas don’t require more strict testing. I honestly don’t care. I’m just a “ Curiosity killed the cat” kinda thing. I grew up smoking swag outta Mexico my entire teens and young adult life. And my favorite shop is black market as fuck and they do not do any testing. I do not care.
Also. Growers, processors, and packagers are all usually different companies.
All require a new set of tests. Idk why. Every set of hands has to test. ALL the flower. Yes. Stupid. Is what it is.
I think the 160 covers Potency test. Terpene profiling, micro tests, heavy metals and residual solvents. Then moisture content

I did care, that’s why I originally asked the question…

I don’t sell, so I didn’t know that was how they did it. As a home grower, labs can test with samples of less than 0.5g per test.

In California for legal shops the sample has to be based on the size of the batch. If you have a large batch (say a few hundred pounds, like 300-500), your sample size might be a pound or more. There's also a maximum batch size and if you grow more than the maximum batch size, it gets split and treated as a separate batch that needs its own sample.

For what it's worth, labs testing for the legal distributors are testing for potency, pesticides, microbes, heavy metals, solvents, and moisture content/relative humidity. The terpenes aren't mandated by the state but anyone paying for labs is going to want it because it will help their stuff sell. Some things won't get picked up by that battery of test, for example, someone could be using paclobutrazol and not have it show up because it's not being tested for.
