Hi, Just joined the forum, living in Thailand, where marijuana has just been legalised. Long time smoker, since the 60s, but can't smoke anymore, so looking to grow plants and use them in food, recipes etc

I just saw a video on youtube of Thai dispensaries on opening day with huge lines. What a great moment for the country. I wouldn't mind moving there to grow cannabis.

Thai nationals are only allowed to grow 6 plants, at the moment. Law on foreigners growing is fuzzy, but will sort itself out in time.

I'd be more interested in starting a legal cannabis business there. I love Thailand, wouldnt mind retiring there or vietnam. Only thing that is missing is decent surf.

Didn’t Thailand give out temporary 3mo grower licenses? Interesting to watch how they work this out. I’d imagine there will be a huge grey market soon.

With the prices in Australia that seems like it'd be a perfect place to flood the free-market.
