Is there an answer for perfect light cycle from the start to the end?

For cuttings i used to want to keep in veg for prolonged periods of time (mothers an fathers) i would always keep them under 24 hours on. I have known of some cuttings after some lenghth of time start having issues (like flowering) under lower light hours than this, ie 18on - 6 off, which is why i found it better for long term veg to keep them under 24hr on.

Careful, your plants might become "light junkies" that way, according to @GrownAtHighAltitude. LMFAO.

It's my opinion on what is happening and I'm just relating my experience with switching my light schedule. You seem to have an axe to grind but I don't hear you telling us what you've done or why your methods are better or more efficient. You're just making low value noise.

If this saves so much energy and increases yields why isn’t every commercial operation running this?

Right and that's all it is, your opinion, which is lacking in any scientific facts or evidence. What have I done? Well I've studied plant morphology and lighting needs for one, plus I understand DLI and how it relates to plant growth.

Well, I grow weed and I do it with 13 hours per day in veg, and 8 hours per day in flower.

And I'm still happy with my results.

You pay more in electricity and we likely have similar results. It's going to be okay.

I didn't come up with this. Others have done the research.

Your guy Joe bashes Robert C. Clarke on his site, and is making outragous and unfounded claims. I personally wouldn't give his theories any creedence. 30% increase my ass. Prove it. The pics you've shown thus far are nothing special, and only show that it's possible to grow cannabis under an alternative lighting schedule, but it does not prove any advantage, ot even if it's as optimal as a standard 12/12 schedule. This is nothing more than bro-science. DLI is DLI.

I have said more than once that I don't listen to anything else Pietri has to say. I have read his books and there is more information available.

I have purchased the Greenhouse Management textbook also and it confirms much of what he claims about short day long night plant varieties. That is why I made the leap and I will not go back. Paying 30 to 40% more for electricity to grow plants is stupid.

This thread is about lighting. Obviously, since this is new information to some people, it is valuable here.

Your replies are STILL not valuable, so I am done replying. You have not provided anything constructive other than to say you know better because of three letter acronyms and the fact you watched some dude in a lab coat on YouTube.

I am putting up pics. You put up nothing. Your arguments are bankrupt to me.

The fact that you have to resort to ad hominem attacks and have nothing else tells people like me all we need to know, BTW. Funny that you don't see it. Many people caught in that trap today, their egos won't let them accept any new information they didn't find out on their own.
It's sad really.

I never said 30% increase. And yet, I am also claiming as good of yields as I ever had in the past.

Again, I don't have anything to prove to anyone. Don't like what I say? Go ahead and ignore me. IDGAF.

Growing is only a hobby for me. I know for some people it is do or die, and growing is all they have in this world to make them feel special. I wish you much success in your endeavors.

You never did respond to my question on post #104?
