My own grow weed doesn't get me high

I don't think in 2 pages anyone has asked if that same weed is getting others high? Maybe i missed it?

So does it? Or is it just you?

Lots of possible answers here already, I just think having a second opinion on that stuff your smoking will help determine if its you or the plant.

Might just not be reaching their full potential... Lots of variables, ie., medium/pot size/nutrients/ventilation, etc.

As to when to harvest, I like to see the majority of the pistils turn color And recede.

Then I will look at the trichomes on a number of buds, I aim for the majority to be cloudy/white. A few amber doesn't hurt !

Nothing wrong with the potency of auto flowers.

I "thought" I would see if what was left of the King Gelato auto in my bong was done, it was two hours later before I could start to cook supper ;)

My growing area is 2x2x5. I am constantly checking the values of the light. Probably because of the early harvest as most say. I've never tried a photoperiod. This time I will give them a chance. Thanks for your reply.

Probably the closest dispensary will be in 3 countries and after 1000 km. :D. But I will try different strains in same time.

OP: 1. Stop growing autos. Auto is cannabis' retarded, drooling family member.
2. Have several strains on rotation, if you smoke everyday do not smoke the same strain longer than a week. I'd like to have 6 - 7 high quality strains that I can cycle through.
3. If those two fails, grow pure sativa's. No they don't take 6 months to flower unless you're N idiot and grow unworked landrace indoor. Ace seeds have well worked sativa's that only take 11-14 weeks to flower, a little longer yes, but most are enormous yielders and the high last 3 hours+. This is your key to trippy weed. Add a few of landrace, pure sativa's to your rotation.

Some autoflowers took really long. I don't think I've grown too many plants. Although I can't speak as precisely as you, I will give photoperiods a chance this time. I don't have much experience with them. I will follow your recommendations. Thank you so much.

No one has ever smoked my weed but me. :( However, I definitely got answers to the questions in my head.

I certainly am not suggesting anyone do this, but: Tear up the wet bud and place between some tissue papers. Microwave no more than 10 seconds at a time (that shit will set on fire!) and take it out often to move the bud pieces around and let moisture escape. In a couple of minutes you will have dry, dark coloured and horrible tasting shit that will get you or some other desperate loser high.

If it survives nuking and still gets me high, that’s good enough for me. The slow-dried stuff should be even better tasting. Again I don’t do this to the whole crop, just a sample to get an idea of whether it is capable of delivering a buzz. I know it usually tastes like ass but I started smoking in the 1970s and half the dope on the market tasted like ass, so I kind of got used to it. People used to get desperate and smoke stems and then get even more desperate and smoke seeds. Microwaved homegrown is caviar compared to some of the crap I inhaled in high school.

Good point. If you have any friends who are growing, you should be trading with them so that you don’t get burned out on your own head stash.

I started a fire in a microwave once. I think I was trying to dry out a bunch of trim to make a topical ointment. After that my old woman banned me from nuking cannabis and she does all the “cooking.” We also have a food dehydrator that takes longer to dry stuff but my wife says the microwave does the same thing faster.

I can’t believe anyone thinks they can get good smoking material from bad genetics just because they read trichomes correctly. If you are growing hemp, you will get great fiber but smoking it won’t affect you like a hit of GSC.

If you don’t have a laboratory and you want to do a 5-minute potency evaluation, options are limited.
