I'm gathering the same supplies right now to do this. What did it for me was looking on fb and finding lower rated pvc for $1 a sick. I've been buying a fitting or 2 every time I go to the hardware store. Which seems to be every week. Was planning panda film too but was looking into those reflective Styrofoam sheets too. They're only $10 a 4x8 sheet. I haven't done the math but I don't think it'll take more than 7-10 sheets. It'll insulate, and I was planning on keeping a portable ac and dehumidifier in there. I was building mine like a cage. With "studs" every 2 or maybe 3 ft. And then another horizontally maybe halfway up. The ceiling is going to be a grid. For strength and stability. I'm was planning on an 8x10x8 that I can build for under $200. I think it's a good idea. Post pics of you do it. I'll post on mine but it'll prob be later this year.

My 8x4 was $140, my 4x4 $100 and my 2x4 was like $60 idk why people insist on making more work and costs for themselves than necessary. If you’re building a room that’s one thing but a tent lol
Can you hang a 20lb light fixture, multiple fans, an inline fan and other things from the ceiling of a DIY tent? I mean, it's your money, but to me time is worth more than money.

Yes, until the cat tries to climb it of course. But it's easy enough to just patch it with another piece of panda film.
