So I’m in my first commercial run, I’ve grown for a couple years prior but this issue is entirely new to me. I know we had a herm out due to stress obviously. But, we have scattered seeds in the top colas across a handful of one specific strain in a room of three strains.
Now I’m assuming that because I noticed seeds and not nanners, the damage is already done.
My question is, should I run them to wk 9 as planned anyway? None of the strains in the room are completely ready and honestly all need to harvest at once due to the buildings constraints.
Will running them longer decrease thc and terps due to seed production from where they are at, or will it allow for them to stack a bit more on before chop?
the room has 316 plants. I’ve found seed in like 10 after VIGOROUSLY checking the entire room today. Like I said, I know the damage is done. I know pollen is in there. And I know the room will need a deep clean. I wasn’t able to find any nanners so I’m guessing they’re buried in the bud on one of the plants.
what I’m looking for specifically is advice from anyone who has done this before me.
This has been a hard run for these girls. Ac went down mid run in one of the hottest summers we have ever had, and that definitely harmed them for sure. I know it’s stress. I just want advice on what to do moving forward. After scoping trich’s today on all three strains, I would say about 50% of trichs are cloudy across all samples of each strain, but I know it’s definitely on the early side.
we have been pressed hard on money due to the permit side of things have pushing our deadline back 4x longer than we anticipated. So I really need the best from this run we can possibly salvage.
Any advice will happily be fielded here. I just wanted to put this out to those with more experience. August 1st starts wk7 for us.
Thanks all.
