• Morphology: Extremely vigorous with huge flowers. Long internodes and fairly stacked flowers.
• Morphogenesis: Thin, scant blades on the sugar leaves of bulbous, spongy flowers. Terpene onset comes a little late in this one. Has fox tails that ripen nicely. Be aware of possible botrytis in humid environments late in flower.
• Terpenes: Sharp Sativa lemon with sweet tarts. Some have a nice sour/gasoline.
• Effects: Uplifting and invigorating; great for activities. Appetite increasing.

To be honest, this has been in the Ethos family for a while and I never gave it much consideration. But I saw some really nice grow diaries with very solid smoke reports. Of course the "Absolute Monster" yield sold me, lets give it a whirl. In 2 days 29 of 30 seeds popped and I moved them into their 5 gallon pots. Only about 25% have peeked thru as of Saturday night. Some pic's tomorrow.....

So, I often buy extra seeds and start them when I start the rest, just in case I need a few extra seedlings. This time I started 30 seeds, 29 sprouted and all I did was double up in some of the pots. I found 2 runts, they’ll be pulled to let the healthier ones flourish. only one strain this time, but I’m seriously considering splitting the room and start growing 2 strains each crop, 12 plants each. It will be a little more challenging, but it’s always worked out in the past. This way, I’ll grow an indica and a sativa, and everyone will be happy.

Perlite.......... about 1 cu ft per bale I’m guessing.

Pots- i like the plastic since they hold up well. After each crop, I put them in a bathtub with very hot water and soak them for an hour, turning them occasionally. This will dissolve any fertilizer build up and kill any insects or eggs still left. I them high pressure wash them And let them dry and they are ready to go.

Rijkmus1 asked me about cloth pots above…….. I have not used them in my grows but do use them outside for my tomatoes. I love them, as they definitely allow more air to get to the roots. But they do break down over a few grows and are harder to clean up at the end of a season compared to plastic. Cloth are also more expensive to buy and replace. If cost was not an issue, I’d be using cloth all the time……

I am growing cucumbers in bags. I did testing with spinosad and purecrop in my garden also. Spinosad is hard on bumblebees outside. It is also good for pavement ants using it as a soil drench. My garden is like yours probably. Old pro mix coco and dirt. Mine is a magnet for all kinds of insects.

I actually don’t grow in a garden……. I do herbs in a railing planter, just basil and a few others. On my front steps, I do some cherry tomatoes that stay small in cloth 5 gallon grow bags. Other than dusting them once in a while, I don’t have to do much else. The herbs get beatles though, and I just manually knock those off. The community I live in used to be a peach farm and we get a lot of insects so the home owners assoc. does a weekly mosquito spraying that tends to kill all the flying insects. I guess it’s pyrethrum…….

FYI…….I pulled the 3 smallest plants and started an Ethos indica strain. A few of my people insist on indicas for night time use and sativas keep them up. I’ll discuss the new strain a bit more in another post. I hated to pull up healthy plants, but it’s no big deal, although they will be 10 days behind.

5ml Cal/Mag per gallon and 15ml veg nutes for every 5 gallons or so.........At this stage, I want the ppm around 275-300. If they lighten up too much (not green enough), thats when I'll start adding more nutes to the mix. This strain is hardy and will grow on the taller side if you let it. I'll probably top them at 3-3.5 weeks, let them veg for 5 weekstotal and then do a very heavy defoliation when I switch to flowering.

Remember too, they don't put off a lot of leaves per the breeder, but I've heard that before and still got a ton of leaves under these LED's.
