I did a few runs of Autos and have done a few Photos...unless you're growing some super-sativa long-haulers the time difference doesn't have to be that much. Lots of Photos these days that lean heavily indica will finish pretty quickly even when waiting for full ripeness.

Can't really say anything to him because he does plenty for us. Like yesterday he was working on our Washer.

some months back mine helped me change the clutch in my tractor,it took three of them about 4 hours to change it out, they kept telling me to back up out of the way,then it did'nt want to go back together,i had 'em loosen the clutch then ,i got everything lined up, and had to step back agin. too slow plus too old.And i'm not 70 yet just pushin' it.hell i was changing points , key switches and blower motors, heater hoses , fan belts ,brake shoes( dad had a garage back in the day) , by the time i was 7 years old, i could lay on top of the motor and change points and plugs.can't really fuss at them ,they all work good jobs, and help there mom and i , so i cant fuss.they don't do any drugs ,not even smoke , is one reason, so far i have one lot beside me for a house or a trailor ,water and septic already on the lot.the oldest already has his own place Sorry for the rant!

Our Law says 6 plants. It is set up on Photos.

I have went with Autos because my Son says more variety and they are easy.

I was scared of Photos because of Light thing.

Got a grow of White Nightmare Photos that I'm very excited about. 5 plants, topped, in Happy Frog , in 5 gallon Fiber Pots. Got to make minor adjustments but looks good.

My problem is my Son wants me to go back to Autos. Says I won't get that much more off of Photos and take longer time. And I have a wife agreeing with him because I don't know nothing.

My way of thinking is the Photos won't take that long and get way more Bud.

Got some Photo Seed that I'm pulling at the bit to start but I also have Auto Seed my Son is wanting me to grow.

Go with the photos and ignore both of them. It’s not difficult to grow good Cannabis. Autos in my personal opinion are in every way inferior to photos. Good luck, you can do it !!

I think the charges are pretty heavy. It just seems like something that would be really hard to ever get caught for unless you were trapping out a house and growing for profit.

Pretty sure they are hip to how much can be grown per watt. Wouldn't be very hard to know if you're over the limit.

Yeah, no. They have no idea of how much power you use outside of the grow, or within.

You could grow one huge plant under 600watts, or 16 small ones. There is no way to measure plant count based on power consumption.

I know that the water companies keep track. One of my swamp coolers was overflowing for a week and they came out to see why I was using so much water. That's when I discovered the problem with the swamp. Too much draw through a smart meter (for those unlucky enough to have one) would also make them think something was up.

Yep, in that example you're spot-on. I'm just thinking about the stories of old where indoor peeps would get popped by excessive power consumption.

You can not have a permit and you are fined.

Not really, especially with many folks driving electric vehicles these days. Charging your EV over night is about the same amount of power as running a 5x5 grow room with AC and a dehuey.
