I was thinking doing a side by side showing how molasses can increase yeilds in cannabis..
I have some stable sour diesel x endless sky cross bx4 in the ground now but they pretty close together so it wouldnt work properly as a fair experiment..
So this fall sometime in the near future ill use clones..

It will be three clones..
1 treated with molasses and nutes
1 just nutes
1 control no nutes just the soil
All will be in the same soil type from the same bag i get it from.
Everything will be documented and if i can get the to work,, videos.. ive had problems trying to get homemade vids on here without putting them on youtube first then linking them here..

I have a 5x5 tent im thinking i may use for this.. i was thinking of using it for some autos but havent decided..
I will put the side by side up here in this section GMG.. im shooting for around the first of november to start it..
People are sceptical about how molasses can increase yeilds anywhere for 10 - 20% I said up to 25% in a post earlier .. ive witnessed this in my own grows in the past..
..
Feel free to add your expierences with it if you like..
This isnt being made for the sake of arguing ..
So if you add to this please keep it in the form of information that can be proven..

I used it for awhile and then after doing some reading on microbes and how they eat and populate I decided it wasn't doing that much for my plants. I don't see anything wrong with using it if you feel like it's working for you. The extra minerals didn't seem worth the hassle of mixing it up to me. I use Recharge already and it's enough for the microbes based on my limited experience. I'll follow your experiment though for sure as I'd like to see what your results are from a side by side. You never know until you try and it seems like you really believe in it so you should test it out if you have the chance.

Wasn’t molasses like a popular staple in the pantry here on roll it up back in the day like from the 2008 era.. that and maybe a dash of some epsom salts.. maybe there is some synergy there whereby the carbon hydrates in the molasses act as an ethylene transport catalyst to potentiate the bioflavonoids and brings out the dankest of the terpenes
I dunno every time I use a sugar the smoke tastes thicker in a way and maybe “sweeter” but like in the same way as flavored blunt wrap if that makes any sense.

Edit: I just realized you guys are talking about yield not flavor ok nvm

Alot of people fail to realize that molasses is in alot of nutrient lines and has been for years.. the molasses thing was used back in the day with schultz, peters, and miracle gro, before alot of nutrient lines started gearing tward cannabis growers..
I can list off alot of nutrient lines that have it in it now and to use molasses with nutrients that have it you wont realy see alot of improvement..
Ill be using something that doesnt have it in it.. maybe peters..

Yeah that seems to be around the time I started using it, mid 2000s sounds about the time Bud Candy was everyone's "must have".

I'm interested in the flavor verdict too. My first grow I used it with Earth Juice and a handful of EWC in teas every feeding. That was the smelliest and most flavorful weed I've probably ever had.

I don't know if it was the guano in the EJ, the molasses, or just really active and happy microbes always being spoiled. This experiment will help narrow it down for me.
