What Strains Are You Growing?

Been a minute since I posted here, and have had success and failure. Just started a new batch of seeds. They're:
"Red Hot Cookies" by Sweet Seeds
"Grape Pound Cake" by Swarley Seeds
"Kona Ghost" by Swarley Seeds
"Kona Orange" by Swarley Seeds and
"The Freakshow" I got from a dude in Texas.
Theses are just the new ones.

Okay. MTF here. Upgraded to 5X5 tent and X2 315cmh lights. Decided to try the trellis netting to hold up branches. It seems that me that in the end the buds start weighing down and causing some stress on the ladies, so hopefully the trellis helps with that. Kinda wondering if I should add another level of netting? We’ll see… Either way. The blurple led lights are history. I also lolipopped the shit out of them.View attachment 5014581 I can’t wait to take pix when the flowers fill in. 5 weeks left.View attachment 5014988View attachment 5014582View attachment 5014583

I mean, the pistils have not even began to turn yet… I think I will continue normal feeding for at least the next two weeks?15CA1DC5-0677-4198-B7CB-BBF9BCDE0C82.png0ACE920A-29E6-4E50-A8E8-EDA92FB4254A.png

These are
front left: royal gorilla/RQS
back left : amnesia lemon/Barney’s farm
front right: dos si dos 33/Barney’s farm
back right (if you could see them): caramelo/delicious seeds

Pics are 38 days post light flip. The dos si dos were a beast and over grew the top of the caramelo while I was on vacation for a week. I’m slightly optimistic that for the first time ever that “about a pound” will be right. I always lose a plant somehow, but all 4 look like they made it. Couple other bud pics too.

Hey mate. I'm trying some dos si dos 33 this time round. Critical kush is a heavy yielding potent strain but the carbon filter couldn't keep the smell at bay.
Your grow looks great. Have you ever tried defoliating the bottom half of your plant, and the large yellowing shade leaves? I gain an extra several ounces doing this. I get between 18-20 oz in a 4ftx4ft tent, under a 600w hps. I clear all of the bottom brances during veg, and keep defoliating during bloom. It's always advisable to use LST or topping to gain the best results. But your crop looks great man. Nice work. I'm looking forward to watching my dos si dos 33 flower. Indoor and out.

This harvest… I took 19 Oz from 7 plants. I’m happy! Oh, I thought I’d also throw in a picture of the mother(ain’t she a cutie). MTF all year!!!6F72E340-A197-49E0-A59D-B00A2541877E.jpeg2734AB9F-522F-474F-81EA-A870D6E37ED5.jpegB09F1933-9E00-4A55-84BD-57BC8792D592.jpeg

My plants a few weeks in veg, the 4 indica plants are incredible bulk (stocky plants), the other two a purple kush( looks more like a sativa plant).

Topped the incredible bulk plants and removed 2 large fan leaves covering the lower shoots, going to keep the best incredible bulk plant out of the 4 plants.

3 x North Thunderfuck by RQS, 3 x Honey Cream by RQS, 1 x Big Bud by Sensi Seeds, 1 x OG Kush by White Label, 1 x Sensi Amnesia by Sensi Seeds and 3 x Critical by RQS, 2 x Bruce Banner #3.

They are all in various states of veg and the Bruce Banners are rooting clones.

I am planning on flipping the North Thunderfuck, Honey Cream, Big Bud and OG Kush on the 17th December. The rest will be held back until next time. I might end up binning the Critical as they are shit. They were freebies, RQS always give Critical as freebies. I have run them quite a few times and for some reason these just aren't performing, no big deal as they were freebies. I doubt I will be using RQS again as their packaging has become less than discreet.

I’ve done some defoliation under the canopy in the past, but not full blown lollipop ping. I need to start. This grow turned out pretty good with 19.2 total dried. Problem I had is we flipped the lights and went on vacation for a week. When I got back scrogging and LST were hopeless so I just wound up doing some light defoliation and let it run.

You are going to LOVE the dos si dos 33 btw. I pulled 6.6 ounces of the densest buds I’ve ever grown. They are hard as a rock, knock you on your ass, and smell amazing. I had some friends who couldn’t take their nose out of the jar. It’s like they were huffing glue.

Anyway thanks for the kudos and advice.

How are those coming along now mate?

I popped a few more and have two solid females outdoors and a good stinky male. I just pollinated my Rose clone with the male and will do the same with the two Sinai when they’re ready.
I’m just after the Rose smelling and tasting plants, if they show up, and if the two turn out nice I’ll pop the remainder of the two packs.

Ok so I just wanted to make this thread so anyone can share what strains they are growing and how their grow is doing. Show off some pics of your beautiful plants.

These are the main things I want to discuss.

Strain, SeedBank/Breeder, Veg Time, How long it takes to flower/what week it is in, What size buckets/pots your flowering in?

Im Growing a Super Skunk and Do-Si-Dos in 10 gallon (40L) fabric pots. The Super Skunk was a clone from a friend and the Do-Si-Dos was a seed from some really good weed so sadly I don't know the what seed bank/Breeder it's from.

The Super Skunk was in Veg for 3 months and just started it's 5th week of flower yesterday. the Do-Si-Dos was also vegged 3 months but took longer to start flowering, it's been in flower for 2 and a half weeks.

The Super Skunk is supposed to be a 8-9 week strain and the Do-Si-dos a 8-10 week strain I've grown both strains befor from the same batch of seeds and clone from same mother plant I know the seeds will grow a bit different because phenos but not much. So I already know I'll be doing 10 weeks for the Do-Si-Dos and 9-10 weeks instead of 8-9 weeks for the Super Skunk. The Do-Si-Dos is a weird strain or at least the batch of seeds I got, the buds like to grow long and skinny then the last couple weeks the start to fatten up I know the last couple weeks most strains get more dense but I've never had a strain do it like this one does.

I'll put up some pics of the plants I took earlier today. The skunk is the shorter one I was able to bend under the trellis and the Do-Si-Dos branches were to hard or they would of snapped so I couldn't bend them under the trellis. Also sorry for the weird lighting in the picture I have some led glasses in front of the camera so you can see more of the true color of the plant cuz my lights are cobs mixed with leds which sadly arnt white diods. Anyway you guys have suffered enough reading this much thankyou for bearing with me and here are the pics.

I’ve been using Seed Bank seeds and the genetics has been really good, so decided to do an all Seed Bank grow. I’m doing GSC, Platinum Cookies and GDP in coco in my 4x4. Using two new Sayhon LEDs plus some extra red. Day 36 of flower, and canopy is pretty awesome…

I had a small bag of MTF that I got in Seward, AK and it was truly a one-hitter quitter! It was like getting hit by a train and it lasted for nearly 3 hours. The best pot I've ever had, hands down. I've been running landrace Colombian Gold for the last 9 months or so. I still have about 12 or so clones in the grow room that I'm gonna let go long.

If it is like the original Gold from the mid 70’s, you really scored. Good Colombian Gold was $50/oz back then- super tight little nugs. Gold to hay colored. It was the first weed I smoked that had that killer expansion. It was so expensive we’d roll “pinners” and those toothpick joints would get 3-4 people pretty stoned. That, Thai Stick, Hawaiian, Acapulco Gold and the rare Acapulco Gold were the only really strong strains Until the early 80’s and Humboldt…the rest is history:)

Archive White Gold: every catalog says this is "one of the best strains ever created". IMO she's kinda picky, and about halfway thru flower as best I can say is at least a "very good 'cookies' cross". Medium stacking.

Archive Flavour Pack: holy WOW, halfway into flower the terpenes got very floral and soapy! Thrives no matter what I throw at her. Great stacker, too. I call her the "soap-pourri" pheno.

Humboldt Seed Co Mountaintop Mint: got some fems from a buddy that were allegedly "off-menu". Very WILD looking growth, double-serrated leaves. Menthol/skunk vibes, SUUUUPER frosty, and early.

4 MTF in front. 2 blueberry headband back right and left. Grape stomp back middle. Some empty space back there… I had to cut out one my brother gave me because it turned male. First male ever. Exactly why I don’t normally throw in unknown strains. Oh, and 1 super geek in the very front( the father). Very smooth grow under X2 315 w cmh. These lights are very good and I’ve more than doubled size since dropping LED. I wanted to up pot from 2 gal to 3 gal but time got away from me. So I water or feed every other day. Using fox farms trio and cal mag. I kept my fans blowing harder this grow so maybe the buds want fall over in the last week like usual. LOL

So, I think I got a good blueberry headband here. I had a little purple in my granola funk but this is awesome. It smells like blueberry candy. Can’t wait to harvest and cure. That EDEA735B-E38D-4D3C-8566-13C0A1E78D23.pngscissor hash is gonna be great.
