Like the title we finally got rain and my plants only 2 months old but after she was so perkey and healthy looking…she is always healthy looking just was expectantly happier…,I wonder is it maybe I’m not watering enough? Something in rain water that my plants not getting from nutrients ? It down-poured for almost 24 hours

5 gallon jug using happy frog potting soil…I read rainwater has a lot of nitrogen so maybe she’s lacking in that?? I just don’t get why she was so happy would like to figure it out so she can always look like that …online says the praying means you found the sweat spot in lighting but I’m growing outdoors so I don’t get that

my outdoors would always go crazy after rain as well. A few of my indoors always stoop up like crazy when I left them outside in the rain for an hour or two. I'd like to know as well. Bring them inside and within an hour they'd be well past 45 degrees.

I’m assuming obviously they’re something in the rain water

It's strange, they say rain water can have microbes and bacteria....The rainwater I have tested was super clean, with less than 5 ppm's. I'm in NY where we get tons of rain so not sure if that is a factor or not.

I have noticed growing grass seed for lawn repair, nothing makes it grow faster than rainwater.

Plus pooling and pudding in the soil letting everything blend and exchange

Smart! I thought this also ….like all the nutrients I’ve fed in it’s 2 months of life must of got washed deep down or something probably saturated it ? Idk

If you tested your rainwater with a EC/TDS meter, it just means you have low Electrical Conductivity in your rain water. TDS meters do not actually measure "total dissolved solids" they only measure EC. Bacteria, microbes, and many other compounds will not be detected by a TDS meter.
