Water?

My Son has exactly everything I have because I supplied it other than water.

Things different he waters his a little every day. He plants in plastic no drainage like mine.

His water is Well Water.

My water is County Water , not sure what all is in it but every once in awhile smell Clorien.

I'm getting nice Buds but he is beating me.

I'm thinking water so he is bringing me water. Don't know how this is going to work.

But thinking about going ahead using mine but bubbling it first.

Thoughts? Don't know PH never check it everything seems ok.

If his plants are outgrowing yours it can be 1 of 100 different things. To begin it can be pheno type factoring, grow environment, and the #1 factor is he might just be better at this than you currently.

For soil I would have just bought test drops or strips.

Is it a quality meter? Did you buy calibration and storage solutions?

Do you have hard water or a water softener?

In another thread you said "Thinking water because mine has so many chemicals his doesn't." What chemicals?

Why do you think you have a water problem? To be honest and blunt, it seems like you are jumping to conclusions.

Got hard water but has whatever the county puts in.

Son has a regular Well.

I thought I had a Good Grow he brought in Autos that were just as good as my Photos. But had a guy tell me all looks because mine had his beat as far as Tight Buds that had Strong Effects.

My wife said here is the only place that don't grow as well on regular Garden.

Mostly yielding more. Only thing he don't have is Lights. He has one correct one.

But he keeps asking my advice on Lights.

He leaves his Tent partially open but I have mine where I am most the time and Light is too bright so I close my Tent up.

I let him have some Clones. I don't understand but he put them under 12/12 Light and naturally they made Buds but they are ready but small.

Had a hard time getting through him that Photos needed dark. He decided he liked Autos but I raised a Photo grow, now he is all over them.

OK got a Meter I don't care for. I just checked the water.

His is 6.5

I drawed some of mine 7

Thinking just use my water, maybe get a Bubbler.

Reading, reading, reading, several came up with feeding Molasses. I have some but don't like cleaning up after using.

What do you think of using Molasses couple weeks before Flushing?

The only thing the water municipality would be putting into your water would be chloramine and chlorine. The levels of either are not high enough to cause any issues with growing plants.
