Hi my bros~ can i take a clone from a cloned Plant ? When is the best time to clone?
Of course. I don’t know if there is a “best time” as long as it’s old enough and healthy.Hi my bros~ can i take a clone from a cloned Plant ? When is the best time to clone?
Oh yeah.... clones from clones from the 70s still around and well.... generational weakening is a mythHi my bros~ can i take a clone from a cloned Plant ? When is the best time to clone?
I have learned through experience that you dont really want to clone from a plant that hasnt shown preflowers yet...Of course. I don’t know if there is a “best time” as long as it’s old enough and healthy.
Do what now?I have learned through experience that you dont really want to clone from a plant that hasnt shown preflowers yet...
Generational weakening may be a myth, but plant mutations can follow generational cloning over time.Oh yeah.... clones from clones from the 70s still around and well.... generational weakening is a myth
I.M.E. a clone that's cloned from a plant that hasn't reached preflower maturity doesn't do nearly as well as one that is cloned from one that is showing sex.Do what now?
touché' but that isn't necessarily a bad thingGenerational weakening may be a myth, but plant mutations can follow generational cloning over time.
Why's that?Oh yeah.... clones from clones from the 70s still around and well.... generational weakening is a myth

In my experiences they're more apt to be weaker overall. more suspectable to root rot or mold during flowering, they take longer to root, longer to veg. they don't seem to flower as well as plants that came from a mature plant....Why's that?
YesHi my bros~ can i take a clone from a cloned Plant ? When is the best time to clone?
Im not doubting your experience. But you're saying that cuttings from plants that are ~2 weeks into flower do better (revegging) than ~4 week old plants that have not been flipped?... or maybe Im not understanding what you're saying. In my experiences they're more apt to be weaker overall. more suspectable to root rot or mold during flowering, they take longer to root, longer to veg. they don't seem to flower as well as plants that came from a mature plant....
your mileage may vary but this is my experience with them.... I'll still take them if the need arises ie: genetics that I want but have to take them right then, I just don't flower them, I grow em up and wait till there showing signs of sex and clone....
No not at all, and I should have been more specific, sorry about that cause now that i read it , it does sound confusing..... Plants that arent showing preflowers in veg indicating what their sex is, is what I'm talking about. IE the initial immature seedling from a seed that has yet to show sex.Im not doubting your experience. Ok yeah... that makes more sense. No not at all, and I should have been more specific, sorry about that cause now that i read it , it does sound confusing..... @xtsho all big brained n sheetEpigenetics
That too, but I was referring to actual mutations, such as those which produce variegation.Epigenetics
