Toque and talk.

I've never even heard that word before today LOL. And I've heard toboggan but never heard it referred to as a hat. We call them a beanie or a skull cap here. Or a tossel cap. Toque and toboggan. You guys are just making up words and shit.
A toque has a pom pom.

This is the one I lost >:(

I must have had 6 SnoCraft tobbogan sleds over the years, 4', 6', 8ft.
I used to put the kids and dog on, then push mom off into the snow halfway down.

Those are called toboggans where I grew up on the East coast. Sleds had metal runners we'd soap up and sand smooth to be faster than the others lol. Mine was a 1950's model that was super weathered but it would probably be worth a ton at an antique store now. Why is all my stuff antique now? It's like I'm aging or something :bigjoint:

School cafeteria lunch trays were popular as free sleds in DC. In the city people would grab the back of the transit buses and ride them like early snow boards. By the time I got my sled it had been through about 6 of my cousins, just like most of my clothes. Both of my parents grew up in the Great Depression and everything got handed down to the younger kids. Bikes, clothes, toys and later on even cars. It's just how they grew up.
