No; you made the curious assertion that it is easy to ignore them.
It's very easy to ignore them, when you don't subject yourself to their presence. Why on earth would you want to go to church, if you didn't want to listen to the sermon? Stay home and worship in your own way. It serves for a much stronger connection with God anyhow.

I would check the link out if it were not from MSNBC.
you feel incapable of separating the fact from the fiction? not up to adjusting for bias?
how do you survive in the highly commercialized, biased, bigoted world? it must seem like a huge whirlpool of bullshit to you?
you have to learn how to jump from little island of truth to little island of truth...but first you have to learn to recognize truth.

I do not watch any cable news networks. They are all slanted one way or another.

I mainly watch cbs news but not the cable news. Only network news.
you get all your information from one source? it's not a horrible source, but i would never trust any one source for anything important, i have a list of at least ten websites i use for information, and verify anything important on at least three of them before i just accept it.
and i only look at cable news broadcasts when they're linked to a story i'm reading online.

i'm just continually amazed that anyone has any loyalty to any particular news source..any of them worth a shit are going to be nearly indistinguishable
from each other...facts are facts, and you can only present them so many ways.
pick out a few good ones and use them to verify each others.
There is a whole spectrum of spin though. Take two recent news cycle winners:
- the statue
- gas stoves
Different outlets emphasize, downplay or outright omit different aspects of the story. A cursory glance at several items about each gives insight not only into what the thing is about, but also what the provider is encouraging the audience to perceive or conclude. All without the providers saying anything counterfactual, just arranging the selected menu items on the plate.

Gas stoves should get its own thread. How ridiculous can those guys get, :wall:
