well we are talking about a republican...scheming is de rigueur. or at least i assumed it was so.
When I look at some of our distinguished representatives, I place that trait beyond their capacities. This one looks like the type specimen for “To Die For” I think the movie was called.

. . . . . . . . don't think for a minute that i support animal abuse, but it just seems kind of odd that all that other shit that negatively effects everyone in the entire country, isn't enough to get some people riled up, but add animal abuse to the recipe, and then they want to start gathering wood to burn the fucker at the stake...¿
Most folks hold dogs in higher esteem than people they don't know. Animal abuse is right up there with child rape when it comes to civil outrage.

the legislative has power over the judicial? that's not what the constitution says, iirc...
of course, state legislative power is all the republicans could lie, cheat, and steal their way in to, so it's all they have to go after those telling them to get fucked with.
so this really comes down to decent people refusing to enforce indecent laws, and the deplorable writers of the indecent laws trying to subvert the constitution to stop them. Or "It's Sunday, the republicans must be attacking democracy again."
