I didn't know what a Milo tin was until I just looked it up. Better than a Pringles can. I used to keep mine in CVault cans. They were okay, but didn't seal 100%. I don't think the material of the container matters so much as keeping it sealed and out of light as best as possible.or you could put a mason jar inside a milo tin

We can get vegemite in the states. Not all of us eat the junk we export. I’ve never had Milo, and I even lived in England for a year.
But I doubt that Milo canister is air tight like a mason jar, which is part of the goal. I keep my jars in a dark box in a cool basement. Storage conditions are important too.

Can someone explain to me what vegemite is? Is it like peanut butter? Milo just looks like Ovaltine or the old (really old) Hershey's Cocoa tins from the 80's. Sounds like you'd be happier with unused paint cans. Airtight lids, 0 leaks, just a bitch to get in to.
