Weekly Bluey update. He started his puppy classes last week.

The 1st class was a little rough. He was super nervous and really couldn't focus on much. There's 3 other dogs roughly his age and size. One is a pit/cane corso puppy that was a bit disruptive and kept distracting him. Which I think is normal for a first class. And a normal well behaved golden retriever. And the last was a sweet special needs border collie mix. She has some neuro thing were it constantly bounces on its hinds legs. Pretty adorable but pretty distracting also. Bluey was kinda scared and didn't really play much at the end. Kept running back and hiding behind me.

The 2nd class was much better. He calmed down after about 10 minutes and ended up being the star pupil. We learned 5 things. All of which he pretty much already knew. And the trainer used him to demonstrate 4/5 things. She tried using the cane corso at first but he never did calm down.

That night after we got home I taught him how to close the baby gate.

yo neo,

he is better but not 100 per cent trust worthy.

i put him out several times a day and crate him when he is left alone.

young jeffery does like shot guns thou. my old dog mags, would turn his head away....jeff licks at the smoke.

thanks for asking about him.
That's awesome man! He's still so young and has got bounced around. He'll figure it. That's exactly why we put our baby gates back up. To contain Bluey and his naughty behaviors to only so many square feet lol. Keep the updates coming. We're all rooting for you guys.

So funny story… I get home and my wife is playing/training the dog. Which she almost never does when I'm home. Cuz that's my job. And she's talking to him in Chinese. And I'm like "wtf are you doing, he doesn't speak Chinese?" And she's like "what? I always do this. He knows it". And I'm like " what ok you're crazy". But then he listened into her. And I'm like wtf? So I googled it. And apparently yes. Dogs can differentiate between languages. So Bluey is apparently bilingual lol. Which is kinda of cool. Other than having to admit to my wife that she was right and I was wrong lol.

Guarantee that Bluey will learn: "Go for a walk/ride?" and "Want a cookie/treat?" in Mandarin or Cantonese faster than you will :hump:
