Thinking of putting the small non lst plant outdoor in April and flowering the remaining 5. I live in Santa Barbara, CA so spring is warm.
You don't need a lot of wattage to veg. You can probably run at closer to 20-30%I hope im not blasting them with too much light. They are approximately 28” above. They are 700w running at 70%. Any help is greatly appreciated!
Im no expert can only speak on my own experience. When I took an internship we veged with 20w florescent bulbs. My veg light is a 40w 600 luminosity runs my 4x4 no problem. When I ask for advice on why my clones weren't rooting well I was told my light was to strong so all the energy when to vegetative growth instead of root growth. Feel free to see my grow journalThank you VaSmile, I was understanding that the best ppfd for veg is 400-800. They are at 650 ppfd. Perhaps that number is for flowering?
