We are supposed to get snow tonight and tomorrow too...about 2" they say. It was 55 and sunny yesterday!
Well no large doses of shrooms for this old man anytime soon....That was one scary ride. It felt so good to NOT be so high last night!!!!!
I am bummed....After doing a shit ton of research, I booked a cruise in early May to the Bahamas with my house mate on MSC Cruise line, which is breaking into our market and has some great prices and beautiful ships...Like about half of the other major lines.
My buddies passport is expired, which I knew, but all that is required is a birth certificate for the Bahamas....Except on MSC....THEY only will accept a passport, I find out after booking! Some law since they are registered in Sweden.
He is going to call the passport office in NYC today and see if he can get an appt., but from what I read they are slammed and it's not gonna happen in time. So may have to cancel or take someone else, etc. ,ugh, always something. I spent at least 10+ hours researching everything but missed this!

I did, but their on line system is down and they are slammed....They are saying even the priority ones are taking 9 weeks. The cruise leaves in 5 weeks.Bummer, have you looked at this?

He is supposed to call today and find out...Said he would drive to the city if he can get an appt. But I highly doubt it. I read they are getting 500,000 applications a week, and they laid everyone off during Covid as no one was applying. then.
MSC does have a policy they will let you reschedule within 3 months one time, so there is always that....But that will be summer vacation time and sure to be packed. Early May the kids are still in school and I was hoping for a not full cruise.
We shall see I guess! No big deal in reality, but .....
