i apprecaite the info. thanks for sharing. lucas in coco is a different animal than most other hydro mediums... the 6/9 is the H3ad recipe modification to the lucas, for coco... H3ad ( username on OG came up with that recipe. ) i fed a few plants yesterday with the 5/10 and i see a little white tip burn. but the rockwool cube ph was also at 6.3 on one of them, and 5.9 o nthe others. my tager is 5.8. so its telling me to adjust the food a little more, but not much... so i will need ot check run off again and see if was ph burn or nute burn before upping the feed. This has been my first LED grow and I chased my tail some . I see no need to lower your ppm once they are out of seedling stage . I run 6/9 for veg and found cal mag is a must with the LED . I switch to bloom only during flower and just add bloom only nutes during flower adjusted to 750 ppm and feed twice a day . I still add some cal mag once a week at 5 ml per gallon . I’m in coco drain to waste in net pots . Next run I plan to foliar feed epson salt as well . I used quality bag coco and buffered before use . I know the LED is causing some cal mag issues as I put half the grow on a 600 HPS and they look night and day compared . Watch how close you get those LED I fried some plants from too much light . LESSON LEARNED !
i have seen on other boards many people experienced with the lucas formula in LEDs say the 6/12 is good to go for bloom. but noone really clarifies for early veg ad late veg... i veg under 200-250PAR for early veg ( 3 weeks ) and then another 3 weeks at 400-600PAR ion late veg, and then flower at 800-1000PAR. i did one LEDrun back in 2018 and i remember the veg sucked because it was too cold, adn flower was quality but yields sucked, bc room was too cold... now temps are all good, and rh is on point. just need ot maximize the food, so we can make the best of it i have a lot of C99 hybrids and she takes extra calcium in weeks 6-8 of flower anyway.... i never had to use cal mag...
