Is that some kind of SIP pot you got on the left?I have two 6” ac infinity cloudline series in my ac 3x3. Thought about adding another. I have noticed humidity seems to remains a lot high in the smaller 3x3 tent. Im a fan of a lot of fans , kind of a fan fan
Not really sure what a sip pot is but I think I know what you are referring to Maybe? If you are asking about the large syringe, i use for my seedlings and store it in the elevator there. I top water everything. (I think thats what you were asking) thank youIs that some kind of SIP pot you got on the left?
Should come with S hook or clip or just buy them. Carbon what? Filter? Will I still need to buy some kind of hangers for this? And is the carbon thing necessary
Not surprised. I bought one of their new T3 humidifiers and it won't turn on and won't work with the controller. I might as well get an RMA for that at the same time as I do for the fan, thanks!I think you must have a bad one. Mine is completely silent. Can't even really hear the fan.
Yea is the exhaust fan and carbon filter a necessity and what else do I need besides fans? A dehumidifier?Should come with S hook or clip or just buy them. Carbon what? Filter?
Exaust is good so you can dial in the humidity and temps, the filter is for smell which works. I have the vivosun 4” and 6” that are still working after a year. It doesn’t take much to vent out a 2.3x2.3, 4” fan could do it. If smell is not a concern a filter is not needed. Exausting the air is important though.Yea is the exhaust fan and carbon filter a necessity and what else do I need besides fans? A dehumidifier?
Ok thanks for the info bro that helps alot ..I think I'm gonna get the Mars Hydro exhaust fan for 85 and I added a hygrometer to my cart..is a 12 in hurricane fan too big for a 2.3x2.3? They have a 6 inch one too..ill look up that dehumidifier too cuz ill be using a small bedroom too for my grow roomExaust is good so you can dial in the humidity and temps, the filter is for smell which works. I noticed on another thread you said your tent was 5’ tall, so is mine and it is the one thing I wish I could change. It is short, so you likely will only have a couple feet tall space to grow in so some plant training would likely be needed but its possible.
So with tent being short and light being wide, you may have better luck putting the fan and filter on top of the tent like I did. I don’t always see people list that they use a dehumitifier but I wouldn’t grow without mine.
People have luck with cheaper ones or you can get a more costly one which I find helps significantly. My plants would mold without it. Especially in something close to a 2x2 in size. I grow in a small bedroom to have decent control with less watts and am working on exausting it outside the room for even more control for less watts.
The list can go on, on what you may need. A couple hygrometers to monitor enviorment. That is a good start. I suggest dehueys for small tents because mine reaches 85RH% without the dehuey. I would get it if it keeps passing 55%.
Any recommendations for a cheaper dehumidifier lmao thar mf is expensiveExaust is good so you can dial in the humidity and temps, the filter is for smell which works. Had the same results. Mine started clicking when it oscillates after just 2 months of use.My S6 constantly clicks during oscillation. It is very annoying. But it works as does my 6" clip on Hurricane whose clamp is also annoying
How tall is your tent again? I thought it said 5’ but now 48” but either way 6’ is preferable for more tall space. I got 4 fans also because of the symmetry of a 2x2 with 6” fans having a narrow path of air flow but also the 6” fans fitting nicely in a small tent, they don’t oscilate which is one less thing to fail.Ok thanks for the info bro that helps alot ..I think I'm gonna get the Mars Hydro exhaust fan for 85 and I added a hygrometer to my cart..is a 12 in hurricane fan too big for a 2.3x2.3? My tent is 27x27x63 so a little bit taller..ok I'll get a few AC Infinity 6 in or maybe a Hurricane one too...and damn I need to find a decent humidifier Nd I think I'll be able to get everything I need to startHow tall is your tent again? Anything bigger would take up a lot of space and it can be tricky setting up and still have stagnant air pockets, I set mine up to have plant have circulating air above, through and below it even though 4 fans seem excessive but it is mostly due to being a small tent. I would use tower fans and full size fans for bigger tents like 3x3 or 3x6. They react to humidity differently, more space to absorb more moisture.
You can set it up with just two 6” fans for one above and below the plant. Just no stagnant air inside canopy for a small tent. The fans above and below just help control heat build up and climate control, I am just trying it out to see if it makes a difference. One plant in flower was enough to raise the bedroom RH from 55% to 75%. That is why exausting outside the room would help.
Just things to consider as growing can bring about mold and you can only stop it from germinating with your own tactics and/or kill the spores with a uv ozone generator or I forget the name.
Cheap dehueys have failed a lot of people, so I bought the costly one to solve the issue of lowering rh and it worked amazingly just that alone. That still couldn’t get RH lower than 45% in a small 2x2, just not enough space for plant to breathe. Smaller plant and exausting outside of room should be able to bring it down some more this time.
gonna get 1 AC Infinity oscillating fan and this one for my 27x27x63How tall is your tent again? I thought it said 5’ but now 48” but either way 6’ is preferable for more tall space. Humidifiers are cheap like 50$ or less. I never use them, house RH of 40-60% is usually good enough. My plants veg good either way. To make more clear why I use more fans, I just researched that it doesn’t lower humidity but rather distribute heat which does hold more moisture which will lower the humidity. My tent is 27x27x63 so a little bit taller..ok I'll get a few AC Infinity 6 in or maybe a Hurricane one too...and damn I need to find a decent humidifier Nd I think I'll be able to get everything I need to start

Yea I thought I saw something close to 5’ so yeah it is short, but these tents cannot grow very big plants anyway. 3x3’s can, I am thinking of buying one.
Just topping and growing a smaller plant, I wouldn’t scrog, it can complicate things in a small tent. I know its 27”x27” but still kind of small. I like smaller free standing plants that can be rotated and sifted through for rot, mold etc.0
But that fridgidaire one popped up at like 275$ tho.. a 50$ one Is no big deal but I need a good brand, the height should be good if I do LST and use a Scrogg right?
Ok then I'll just top and do LST , I'll get a dehumidifier If anybody knows a good brand that they've used lmk..and yea fuck that I don't wanna deal with any mold or mildew. I meant $50 for the humitifier because it is simple technology. The dehuey was costly but it is appropriately sized for the bedroom, 100 square foot. Cheaper dehueys I never used but some people have luck with 80$ dehueys.
I got it so I can have the best control for humidity and it works like a beast. It was a boring purchase and sucks to spend 500w 50$ a month running it but it will work and is critical to use IME.
I don’t want to lose 90 days of work to mold at the last second like it happened last time. It spread quick and grew inside every cola.
