Where would y'all top these plants? When topped, where would they grow from? I also just noticed that super purple/pinkish stem on it. Is that a problem?

I'd supercrop them at the secondary branch height so the main tip and the secondaries are the same height. That saves you from losing the top growth and still gives you a flat canopy.

70 degrees @ 0800, not sure it is worth opening the house up. Headed to 102 or so with clouds. Humidity will probably be elevated for here.
We had a Coopers hawk sitting on our lamp post yesterday morning raising hell. The mockingbird was strangely silent.

I survived the road trip....Got home about 9 pm and I was passed out moments later. That was all way too much on my back, even with wearing a brace all day.

We also walked around Central Park. My buddy was pointing out all the rats...We saw a half dozen in a 20 minute walk. They are like chipmunks running around everywhere. Talk about a place to people watch though. You see it ALL at Central Park.
