I'm going with another Scorpion Diablo X when they have their next 25% off sale to replace my HPF4k. I've never seen happier plants than under that spectrum. Best of all I can't run either of my HLG lights more than about 50% or I see scorching. My Veg Pro light is running at 10% while my HPF 4000 is running full bore at 485 W 100% and can't keep up, the plants much prefer the Veg Pro over the HPF. Although honestly they'd all rather be under the X. Spectrum has a lot more to do with it than I thought. I must admit I thought LG was full of it until I tried it and there's no comparison, ymmv.

Now I'm thinking I want to change my 3x3 for a 4x2 to better use that light

I impressed with the $400 light I bought, which I am running at 100% and it's killing it in my flower room....and i could buy 3 of them for the cost of 1
Scorpion Diablo X. And this cheap light also has a 5 year warranty.

And we all know in 5 years they will probably both be outdated, and I doubt I'll still be growing.

@manfredo I rode to the lake yesterday. hit up ice Creamonology, got some hand churned vanilla ice cream and grabbed some mini brownies and whipped cream on the way home.

Do it. Total coverage with that light - and you can reach every corner of the 2 x 4 without disturbing your 8 square feet of plants.

I am considering taking it with me and to that end I'm planning my burial pyramid which will include all my favorite lights and genetics. Still a work in progress.

Will there be a ritual short circuiting of the driver to start the pyre? Or is it more of an everyone tosses a lit joint of something you grew on?

I started with HPS, use T5 for seedlings and MH for veg. This LED thing and tuned spectrums give tons more nuance.
