Nutrient Problem....GH Flora mixes up weak!

I am trying coco for the first time, and having a few issues now that I am nearing the finish line.

There are sooo many different feedcharts for Flora it's tough to know which one to use. I was using an older one, and I switched to a new one....and I am learning about EC.

My EC and PPM's always come out way lower than what they say they will be.

I just mixed up 30 gallons using their new chart for "medium feed", which is what they recommend for my setup. The EC is supposed to be 1.2-1.4 on their chart, but it is 0.9 - PPM's shoud be 500-750 the chart says, but they are like 450. I mixed everything exactly to their specs, so why is it low every time??

Go use the drain to waste chart on GrowWeedEasy.com

Nebula is a fan of GH nutes and has a chart on their site you can just follow to a T, i did that for my first full year of growing & had minimal problems

I believe their PPMs are based on you using the 'extras' they recommend. I don't use those so mine mixes 'weak' so I mix it stronger then dilute to the desired PPM.
Ohshit GREAT POINT here. On that note, besides the trio, I advise get calmag and silica. Floralicious Plus is helpful but not entirely necessary. And you're gona want liquid KoolBloom for flower. So in all, I'd advise:

Start with Armor Si in your water
Use Calmag second
Then the trio in order (Micro, Gro, Bloom)
start using liquid KoolBloom in week 2-3 of flower
add Floralicious Plus if u want, it helps IMO

Bingo, I use CaliMagic and Botanicare's SI although I'm considering Impello Dune.

I do use all that stuff...I am guessing I need a new EC meter.

A lot of that stuff isn’t needed to grow great weed in coco just the cal-mag and trio is really all that’s needed and makes it easier to not have to use all those bottles. I’m sure some of them help but to keep it simple for your first few coco runs and don’t worry about your ppm being off from their chart it’s just a baseline and there is so many variables from your setup to theirs. As long as you’re not seeing issues in the plants just keep it simple. I use hard tap water and never go above 700ppm and most times I keep it around 500 but I found that my VPD is high so the plants need more frequent feeds at a lower strength and works great for me but everyone’s setups are different and seem to run differently.

Yeah, I was having some minor issues with the plants....Then someone told me my EC was too low, and when I raised it things got worse overnight.

But I think my problem was my temps being too high and the plants drinking more, so the nutes got concentrated. And I agree on keeping it simple for a while. I already had all the Flora add ons from my soil grows.

I'll also switch to 2 gallon pots next run, to make it easier to water til runoff.

Thanks for the ideas everyone!!

I run 3gal with coco that seems to be the sweet spot for how long I veg but you will find your sweet spots with all of it pretty quick.

Just wondering about this order...

I know micro comes first, unless you use Armor Si then that always goes first, but I always add CalMag last. Does it matter on the CalMag??

I'm not Pop but no I add my CaliMagic last. Armor first and Micro next, then grow/flower.

you should check out H3AD's formula for coco. no grow needed and "shouldn't" need cal/mg either (just mg via epsom)

There water source on the chart you are following could be slightly harder where as your water source could be softer resulting in a lower EC

Don't focus on feed charts. Focus on the EC that your nutrient solution is.
