I remember when I could do that. On an easy course. With a mulligan.Tee time Sunday afternoon @ 1:20. Let's see if I can break 80 for a 2nd round.
6,000 yards from the White's - and tee shots need to be in certain spots on the fairways to score well.... I remember when I could do that. On an easy course. With a mulligan ...
One shot at a time. Don't be thinking ahead.6,000 yards from the White's - and tee shots need to be in certain spots on the fairways to score well.
This Sunday, I'll give the 6,300 Blue's a shot.
If I could get my wife to lay up now and then she would kick my butt every time we played. But no, the magnetic pull of greenside bunkers is too great for her and she has no sand game to speak of. She turns 5 into 9 way too often. Take away from this story what you will. And dinna press! One shot at a time. Don't be thinking ahead.
Sounds like my little brother, can't resist the driver off the deck. When I see him pull out the driver to get home in 2 I lick my chops 'cause he hits that shot good once a century. If I could get my wife to lay up now and then she would kick my butt every time we played. I always use old pickle vinegar, so I can keep the good stuff for other purposes... But I also crave pickles biweekly, so I tend to have them on hand. CRONCH. Little dish soap to keep them under water til they die... I had a buncha flies a few weeks agoAnyone else battling fruit flies in the kitchen? I'm surprised the little bastards haven't found their way to the grow room yet! I have a sticky trap and 2 bowls of apple cider vinegar as traps, but they keep coming. I think they can fit right through a window screen,
Yeah more trimming today. I have a Chernobyl that's looking marvelous!! 2 actually
Unfortunately everything is looking poorly in my veg closet. Really not quite sure what's going on. Trying to get them to bounce back but it's looking rough....So much so that i just dropped some seeds in water last night in case I have to start over!. Soooo, no huge rush on trimming, as I have nothing to flip, which is very unusual for me!
Rained soooo hard last night, the river must be looking scary!!
We get them all the time as they love the woods with all the decomposing organic matter. The apple cider vinegar and sugar with a couple of drops of dish soap traps get a lot of them and keeping water as unavailable for them as possible helps too.Anyone else battling fruit flies in the kitchen? Yes I noticed last night they had a breeding grounds in my coffee maker water tank, and I'm near the woods too. I get them every year about this time but they have been much worse than normal this year. Maybe all the dead Ash tree's, IDK. In my experience, every time I have ever dealt with them, it has 100% been because I had something rotting, either in the trash or something in a cabinet that I forgot I had. (Potatoes. It's always potatoes in the cabinet)Anyone else battling fruit flies in the kitchen? I'm surprised the little bastards haven't found their way to the grow room yet! My cousin tries to be the alpha of the foursome too. One time he fluked a 9 iron ~155 yards so he thinks that's his normal distance. The other 99 times, his 9 iron goes 135 to 140 like everyone else. But he's gonna continue with that club until he hits another one 155 yards.... One shot at a time. Don't be thinking ahead ...
Exactly why I put the rolls on backwards, harder to roll it all off into the toilet.
