My buddy I was talking about that went to Japan with the edibles, ate them all before he got on the plane. he said he slept most of the way there, and it's a 12 hour flight. :lol:

He said it is so much nicer there than here in the US. with basically zero crime, very clean, food prices are about half of what they are here he said, gas was a lot cheaper....It is hot though, pretty much all year round.

My little brother was a exchange student there. He had a great time.

I've never been to Japan, but I did stay at a...nevermind.
Another cool morning, headed to about 90.
Ordered a digital antenna yesterday to try to get a Fox station for football, their transmitter is 53 miles away, fingers crossed.

It's a good thing I moved my outdoor plants. 2 guys from the power company showed up knocking on my door....wanted to cut through my yard to inspect the power lines. Sure, no problem, as weed smell is wafting out of the house.

Then I went to the bank and I saw why. Loads of damage from the storm. There are like 10 utility trucks on my road changing utility poles. I counted 12 that had been replaced, and a bunch of trees down...And my poor 90 y.o. neighbor really got it. Poor guys has been having his share of insurance claims.

I do need to go tie my plants up though....The storm did beat them up a bit.

My husband spent 3 years at Yokota and was relatively fluent in Japanese when I met him. He loved it there.

Well they changed the forecast, and no rain til 11 pm now. Maybe LUMA Fest will still happen.

I have to show a house this eve, for the 2nd time, and possibly write up an offer. Ugh!

Gonna try and cut the lawn now. 74 degrees is feeling pretty nice!! Had to turn my AC on for dehumidify control in the room I'm drying in. Roommate said the house has a deep weed odor. I forget the word he used, but it made me proud :hump: :lol:

New garlic bed took all morning to assemble and 2 hours to fill. Holds 1.2 cubic yards and the old beds held 1.5. I have a whole cone left! Extremely earthy terps lol. I can top up my other beds but they are still occupied and I can't let my lawn die. I hate secondary cone shifting!20230908_150716.jpg

Man you are really making me look bad. I have 3 sad looking 4 x 8 wooden raised gardens on their last legs. I think I will downsize to 1 next year, and make it galvanized. They do look nice, and they are deeper!!
