We actually get that very small times next town down from us in northeast conn. Happens certain months it's up where woods go for as far as u can see like ocean of trees.

Oh hell no! I need to have all 4 seasons. Texas had hot and really damn hot and that was it. We get the best of everything weather wise in the mid Atlantic without the crazy hurricanes, tornados, fires and other crazy stuff that affects other parts of the country. Hope you get some cooler temps soon.

I used to collect fiddleheads with my kids down by one of the creeks on our property. Tried to teach them foraging skills but they were more interested in TV and games as they got older. We have Morel mushrooms all over the place that are really tasty too.
