He will be disqualified by the SCOTUS in about 70 days I figure, he can whine about that then. It makes it easier for Chutkan to put the fucker in jail since politics will no longer be a factor in his prosecution once he is disqualified. A decision is expected in Colorado about that by Thanksgiving, or so the judge says, and the Colorado supreme court should rule on the appeal by the first week of December, then off to the SCOTUS. If it is not reversed on appeal, we should know if Trump is disqualified in Colorado at least in November. I think the courts might be reluctant to reverse his disqualification considering the 2/3s rule in both houses for reinstatement and the mountain of evidence against Trump, considering the civil standards of proof required. It should be a slomo disqualification running from November to December with Trump losing appeals.

What would be the response to a tweet like that after the SCOTUS disqualifies him in December? Ridicule and a reminder he would be disqualified for being an idiot and insurrectionist. The battle for the speakership is part of getting rid of Trump and Gym Jordan is a magat who would do Trump's bidding. Trump is going over the edge into the abyss starting in about 50 days with disqualification in Colorado and nationally by the end of the year. They will want to be well clear of him by the time his DC trial rolls around in DC on March 4th. Gym would have the republicans in the house charging the courthouse steps J6 style at Trump's command.

it's round 3 for Gym, and everytime they vote he loses more and more....first vote 20, second vote 25, and it keeps going down from there.....even Bohner got a vote the second time....now there are call for Liz and the interum speaker to be speaker......now if Jefferies crossed the ile all he need is 5 votes from the GOP to be speaker

The democrats can't make a deal with anyone who backs impeachment or who abuses congresses power with false investigations for political purposes or to blow smoke for Trump. Just fund the government and aid Israel and Ukraine, and the Ukrainian funding request just went up by quite a bit and covers the next year. Nobody expects these clowns to do much, though Santos should go to jail as soon as they try the asshole, then it's just 3 needed. Republican congress people voting against Jordan have had their families threatened FFS. A mini-Trump who requested a pardon for J6 because he was up to his eyeballs in it, and might be just one rat needing a deal, away from being indicted himself, when Jack gets around to the rest ringleaders involved in J6, after Donald is caged.

They will let them twist in the wind, but there is a deadline for government funding and a rush for funding for Israel, and Joe just tacked on a year's worth of funding for Ukraine, instead of the smaller package. Wiley ole Joe knows he will have them on the ropes as the deadline looms, nobody is blaming Joe or the democrats for this fiasco, not even most republicans. If they rescue them, it will be with a temporary speaker passing the funding and then back to the GOP internal fight. The good of the country must come before politics, at least for the democrats, the republicans will destroy the country if left to their own devices.

Joe knows what he's doing which is why he upped the ante on Ukrainian aid enough to take it out of their control until the election. I figure he will win again because the republicans are in disarray and will stay that way, before it is over funding the government will be demanded until the election too. He is using Israeli aid and keeping the government open as a club against them. They are split on Ukraine, Jordan leading the magat faction, but there are Russia hawks in the republican house caucus too, the base is so split on Ukraine even Lindsey Graham was bold enough to disagree with Trump on it.

If the anti Jordon holdouts can retain their “courage” (for lack of a better word), Democrats are going to be needed to get this over the line.
