Maybe grab some feminized photo period strains to go along with that new light and tent. Then you can veg it long enough to fill out your tent

I hear ya there man, but if you want to stop "investing" in the dispo you need to invest a bit more into your grow. Tents will be cheap on black Friday. I got a 4x8 past year for $40. Good quality too. Viparspectra lights are on sale I see. One small one would blow all your lights out of the water. Well worth the $90 for a few plants.
VIPARSPECTRA 2023 XS1500 Pro LED Grow Light with New-gen Lens, Dimming Daisy Chain Full Spectrum Grow Lights for Indoor Plants Veg Bloom Growing Lamps for 2x2/3x3 Grow Tent Actual Power 150Watt https://a.co/d/49dVuFm

Lots of grow journals on here using these fixtures. A bunch won in giveaways right here on riu. Little bit at a time, and combine that with some scrog or lst research... you'll be giving a drive by middle finger to the dispo in no time

Appreciate you. I plan to try LST on the jack.
Yeah 80 watts isn't enough but at 20 bucks a light 40 in total it fit my budget.

Dry nutes? Like what ones do you recommend? I really like these as it doesn't raise or drop my ph levels at all. Stays right about 6 to 7. And they seem to be providing what's needed. Now if dry is easier and bigger yield I am all ears.
In fairness, I haven’t used the stuff in your picture, and I know some people kick ass with it. Most recommend starting with half dose or less with autos, which can be really sensitive. My first few rounds I ran the infamous fox farm trio. Some plants took it well and others crashed and burned when I added that stuff to the mix (some weeks after they sprouted, mid-flower, which is when the problems often arise.)

I just had my most successful run adding Dr. Earth as a one off amendment about three weeks into the grow. I also topped some off with a few more inches of the fox farm soil, which has more built in nutes. This stuff will slow release rather than risk shocking the plant. Growing in soil, ph generally should not be an issue (how big is your main pot?).

Anyway, definitely a lot more straightforward to simply build a nute rich lower layer of soil or add some as an amendment. My approach on this most recent and most successful grow was informed by stuff I read here, especially @Budzbuddha’s thread here: https://www.rollitup.org/t/ffof-fox-farms-ocean-forest-made-simple-autoflower.996511/.

I would keep the lights on 24 hours, or at least 20. I agree with the other poster, at some point, if you want to save, you’ve got to invest. There are some good all in packages that will get you going @400. Seems a lot, I know. But with autos, good genetics, some ok gear, you can pretty easily pull a half pound or more every three months or so. Pic below is two recently harvested plants from Mephisto seeds. Also cost a little, but worth it. No liquid nutes, a bit of low stress training, 240w light. Four successful plants this grow, 3x3 tent. Kept a grow journal if you want to check it out. Read Budzbuddah’s threads and some others with great advice!

Wow. I was unaware ffof was nuted so well. I think I am going to try this jack auto with just that. I didn't pay alot for my nutes so if throwing them out is best I don't really mind.

I have no room for a tent. I live in a 5th wheel RV. I built a makeup nook for the wife and I have taken over half her space with lights and mylar blankets. It isn't 100% dark at night but it is working.

Lights will be first upgrade. 87 dollars right now on Amazon. That is reasonable. What timers do you all use? I have a few Christmas light timers laying around. They never messed up my Christmas light schedule. Lol.

That will work just fine, as long as it has a ground. I use these Amazon specials

Handy because one side stays on for the fans

Just realizing now my camera lens is covered in resin. Sorry for the blurry pics

Easiest for me is leaving the lights on 24/0. Help keeps temps up at night and fixes the no tent light disturbance at night.

Ok. Keeping a journal with the new seedling jack herer. Will start a thread and keep updated with photos all the way thru

24/0 lights
Ffof soil
Perlite
Charcoal
Bubbled tap water to clear out chlorine

Nothing more. Let's see what happens

Here’s the grow journal. Too wordy, but maybe some useful stuff. https://www.rollitup.org/t/mixed-auto-grow-with-spider-farmer-se3000-from-giveaway.1092744/

And not perfect, though several runs in and getting better each time. Lots of grow journals to study.

Go with the stuff you listed for soil but be ready to add a dry amendment @ week three or four, a week or so before the ff soil is spent and the plant starts needing it.

Good luck. Most of us are learning as we go.

That would make me have to buy expensive lights and timers and more money. I think I will stick with the autos for now until I can justify more costs
I don’t know where you’re at but around me people are literally giving away high pressure sodium gear. I’d get myself and 600 watt with air cooled hood. Used I just saw a set like that for 30$ at the pawn shop. Probably Facebook or Craigslist has lots to choose from

Only issue I have with lights is I live in a 5th wheel rv. MY wife and I travel a lot and it fits our lifestyle. So major power drawing lights are not an option for me. Xs1500 pro led light is on the way. That's about as big as I can get. But at 87 dollars great buy.

You might find a small tent is actually a really efficient use of space and stuff. Not sure what you’re looking at for space, though the footprint in your pic is probably bigger than some plants would be. 2x2, 3x3, etc, some varying heights. Just a thought
