Get a set of machinist squares.I've just given up. Either 1) repeatable accurate measurements do not exist or 2) they are unattainable at my economic status.
Same goes for 90° tools, straight cut saws, and liquid measure cups.
you can get cheap ones used for lizard aquariums that have a calibration screw on the back. Put it in a sandwich bag with a 62% boveda pack overnight then set it to 62%I just need something to tell me it's not 75% in there lol.
Yeah, I've been trying to find a set locally that I can go verify. The amazon reviews for all of them are all over the place with pictures of very unsquare sets and some that are perfect from the same seller. They run from $20 for a set to $150+ for a single, with the same review sample of hit and miss accuracy.Get a set of machinist squares.
Set your tools with those. And check larger squares with them too.
