My clone has trichomes!!

Okay, I'm a bit confused. I went on vacation and came home to find one of my female Belladonnas was a he. So I got rid of him and cloned off my last flowering Belladonna. It took a long time to "take" but she came alive and I didn't pay that close attention to her. Today I looked closer and DAMN, trichs all over the place in the center. My growing abilities are average so I'm not a total noob but I have a lot to learn.:neutral:

Now what? Do I put the little shit into flowering or try to revert her to veg?

Is this something that happens sometimes?

The trichs are in the center.

Well if you cut it from a flowering plant the clone is also in flowering stage, I believe that clones should be cut while in veg state.

I would continue to keep vegging her using what ever light schedule you have now, it will probably stunt your clone a little because she thinks its time to flower. Once she reverts back to veg and gets a bit bigger make clones before you flower to avoid this next time.

Well thanks all! I've had her on a 18/6 light schedule but now I better go to 24/0 to try to get her vegging again. It's just strange to see this happen. I cut this off the bottom of the plant when it had been in flowering for a week so I was a little concerned that I was late.

Okay screw it! I'm putting her the flowerng room. Let's see what happens! I had to put her on a little step ladder to get her closer to the light. I'll post more in a week or two when she starts to bud. :mrgreen:

naw don't do that its not going to help it at all it is too late to clone from that plant just go ahead and throw that clone back in with the mother and finish it up... nice clone though. next time clone and mark it from each plant then trow it into flowering that way if it is male or female you have them marked

Sorry to hear that, sad. I just got to your thread and was gonna say that that stuff looks more like white mold to me. Is that why she died, you think?

Oh no, I checked the trichs with a glass and it wasn't mold. It was just to far into flowering to bring it back. I should have just left it in 12/12 and got a micro bud. It's been good experience for me though so I learned something! One is not to take clones so late into flowering and the other is pay more attention to what is happening to your clones! The two other clones I took before my vacay (one week prior to taking the later clones)are doing fine.

well you can take clones but you have to take them from the bottom of the plant in bloom or not they root better ! if it is in bloom then the bootom of the plant is the last branches to get buds

funny story .. not really .. but i broke off a branch on my flowering plant prolly a month into flowering ..... i was able to trim this branch and i stuck it in my bubble cloner
and it developed some nice roots after 2 weeks .... now i just stuck it back into flowering ... its gonna be interesting to see what it does here the next couple weeks
if i can remember later ill take a pick of it .. its basiclly a bud on a branch in soil ... hopefully it will mature :)
